783 The young master said, I believe Xinglang will be fine

Half a month passed in a flash, and Gu Xingnuo and his group finally returned to Fengjing City.

When Mrs. Sun saw her husband, tears almost welled up in her eyes. Gu Xingnuo, who had rushed all the way back to Fengjing City, looked very thin and tired, and walked slowly. It was obvious that he had not yet recovered from his injuries.

Gu Xun and Gu Jin trotted all the way to Gu Xingnuo, wanting to throw themselves into his arms, but they didn't dare. They stood in front of Gu Xingnuo and called him father.

Gu Xinglang touched Gu Xun's head, pinched Gu Jin's chubby little face, looked at Madam Sun and smiled, saying, "Madam, I'm back."

Mrs. Sun groaned, and had a lot to say, but for a moment, she didn't know where to start.

Gu Xingnuo turned around and said to Gu Xingyan who came out of the city to meet him: "Let's go in and talk."

Madam Sun looked at her husband, then at the gloomy-faced Gu Xingyan, and hurriedly called Gu Xun and Gu Jin back to her side and made way.

The two brothers sat in Gu Xingnuo's study. Gu Xingnuo stroked his aching ribs and said to Gu Xingyan, "It's too stuffy in the room. Open the window."

Gu Xingyan had already sat down, but after hearing what Gu Xingnuo said, he stood up and opened two windows.

With the fresh air coming into the room, Gu Xingnuo felt less stuffy in his chest. After seeing his second brother, Master Gu, he told him everything and sighed.

Gu Xingyan said: "What's the point of sighing now? What should I do now?"

Gu Xingnuo said: "Let mother live in the Buddhist temple courtyard."

Gu Xingyan said, "Okay, let's do this. What about Xinglang's matter?"

Gu Xingnuo asked Gu Xingyan to sit down and talk, and asked, "How is Xinglang doing recently?"

Gu Xingyan sat down and said, "Being dragged by the princess to go shopping, eat and drink every day, it seems okay."

"Then let's maintain the status quo," said Gu Xingnuo.

Gu Xingyan got anxious again when he heard this. He jumped up from his chair and said, "Will his illness not get worse? Can the princess always take him with her everywhere like this? What if he becomes like his father in the future?"

Gu Xingnuo frowned and said, "If you are anxious now, can this problem be solved?"

Gu Xingyan choked, then said angrily: "I am incompetent, so I will be anxious, but you are not anxious, so tell me, what should I do about this."

Gu Xingnuo said: "I don't know."

Hearing Gu Xingnuo say that he didn’t know, Gu Xingyan suddenly felt a sense of despair in his heart. Even someone like his eldest brother said he didn’t know, so was his younger brother really hopeless?

"I went to Miaodi to find a doctor for Xinglang," Gu Xingnuo whispered, "but the people of Miaodi, including several great witches, are helpless in dealing with the matter of the medicine man."

Gu Xingyan fell back into the chair.

"The only one who can save Xinglang now is the princess," Gu Xingnuo said, "All we can do is to keep ourselves stable and live our lives normally. Treat Xinglang the same way you treated him before. Just remember not to provoke him. If you can avoid letting him know about unhappy things, don't let him know."

Gu Xingyan rubbed his face.

Gu Xingnuo said: "Xingyan, this is easy to say, but not easy to do."

"Whether he is a medicine man or not, he is still my brother," Gu Xingyan said, "It's not difficult to do. Besides, I have to go back to my hometown soon. How long can Xinglang and I stay together?"

"Back then, there were 19 children who fell into Mo Wen's hands, just like Xing Lang," Gu Xingnuo whispered, "same birth dates, but except for Xing Lang, those children all died one after another." Gu Xingnuo took out a letter from his sleeve and handed it to Gu Xingyan, "I wrote to Zhuri Wuhuan and asked him about it. This is his reply. The bodies of those children were finally handled by the Eternal Life Temple."

Gu Xingyan read the letter and asked, "How did those people die?"

"Crazy," Gu Xingnuo said, "He killed countless people and was eventually killed. Many of them died at the hands of their family members."

Gu Xingyan grabbed the letter in his hand, looked at Gu Xingnuo with sour eyes and said: "Isn't Xinglang also going crazy and killing people now?"

"Yeah," said Gu Xingnuo.

Gu Xingyan punched the coffee table beside him.

"I believe Xinglang will be fine," Gu Xingnuo said.

Gu Xingyan was stunned.

"You have to believe it too," Young Master Gu said to his second brother, "Only if we believe it ourselves can we treat Xing Lang as before. Do you understand what I mean?"

Gu Xingyan sat in the chair without saying a word.

Gu Xingnuo didn't say anything else and let the Second Young Master Gu sit there thinking. He unfolded the letter paper on the desk and without calling anyone in to serve him, he ground the ink himself and picked up the pen to write the letter.

Gu Xingyan sat there in silence for a while, then turned his head to look out the window and said, "Damn it, I also believe Xinglang will be fine. Everyone else died, but my son didn't. What does this mean? This means that my son Xinglang is lucky!"

Gu Xingnuo hummed and said, "Just think so."

Gu Xingyan stood up and walked to the desk. He took a look at the letter his elder brother was writing, and his face darkened again. He asked, "Did you ask the Ruan family to come?"

Gu Xingnuo put down the pen in his hand.

Gu Xingyan said: "My wife has already driven Ruan Tian out of the capital, but who knew that she would fall ill again not long after leaving the capital!"

Gu Xingnuo said: "Is she really sick or faking it?"

"How would I know?" Gu Xingyan said unhappily, "I'm not a doctor. Grandmother makes a scene every now and then because of this woman. I wonder if this woman has drugged Grandmother?"

"Can you use your brain when you do things?" Young Master Gu looked up at Young Master Gu and said, "If you want to make a scene, make a scene thoroughly. Otherwise, don't make a scene at all."

Gu Xingyan asked anxiously: "What else should I do?"

"If Ruan Tian doesn't want to be a human being, then you should just stop her from being a human being," Gu Xingnuo whispered, "What do you mean by this now? She is sick outside the city. In the eyes of others, it is our Gu family who is mistreating our relative. What benefit do we get from this?"

"Then," Gu Xingyan said, "you mean, I should have killed her then?"

"Alas," Gu Xingnuo sighed, and said, "Think of a way to put her in jail. A woman who is a prisoner has many thoughts. Why are you afraid of her?"

"firmly?"

"Didn't they say Xinglang killed her wet nurse?" Gu Xingnuo said, "You put the blame on her. How can this Ruan family still stir up trouble outside?"

"That's impossible," Gu Xingyan said, "Many people saw it at the time."

"So what if you saw it?" Gu Xingnuo said with a smile, "A servant of my Gu family dared to say anything outside. Do you want to die? As for the servant of the Ruan family, just kill him. Are you afraid of killing a few more people, Gu Xingyan?"

"Then, grandma is here too."

"Even if I wipe out the Ruan family, what can my grandmother do?" Young Master Gu asked Young Master Gu.
