A middle-aged man rushed out from behind the rockery. He was wearing the clothes of a steward in the Gu Mansion, with a pale face and a short beard, and had an ordinary appearance. After he came out, he started fighting with the three bosses.
Xiao Wei had been standing behind, watching Xiao Zhuang escort Madam Sun and the two young masters back to their rooms. Only after he was sure that no one in the yard would shoot arrows from behind did he draw his sword and join the battle.

The eldest boss said: "His surname is Gu. Is he a son of the Gu family?"
"Yes, I didn't expect him to do that," the butler was so angry that he couldn't speak.
"He knows martial arts?" Xiao Wei asked.
The steward was stunned and shook his head, "I've never heard that he has ever practiced martial arts."
Xiao Wei touched the man's face and found no signs of disguise.
The big boss raised his foot and kicked again, cursing: "You grandson are really good at hiding your incompetence, right? Who is your master?!"
The man was kicked several times by the boss until he vomited blood. He looked lifeless and looked like he didn't want to live.
"You take your men and Xiaozhuang here to protect the eldest young lady and the young master," Xiao Wei said to the two former pirates, "your boss and I will take this man to see the princess."
The two former pirates nodded in agreement.
Xiaozhuang pushed open the tightly closed door and stood in the room and asked loudly, "Is everything okay?"
"We've caught him," the eldest master said, "We haven't searched the yard yet. Madam, please wait in the room."
After hearing what the eldest master said, Xiaozhuang closed the door again, turned around and said to Madam Sun who was holding her two sons, "Madam, you can't go out for the time being."
Madam Sun had just come back from a near-death experience, and now her mind had calmed down. However, she still held Gu Xun and Gu Jin tightly, sitting in a corner far away from the doors and windows, refusing to let go.
Seeing Madam Sun like this, Xiaozhuang said, "Madam, the princess is in the mansion now, nothing will happen."
Mrs. Sun nodded but still said nothing.
Xiaozhuang stood silently in front of Madam Sun and the two young masters. As for the maids and servants who were either trembling with fear or crying in the room, Xiaozhuang didn't care about them at the moment.
The boss brought a team of guards and checked the yard where Gu Xingnuo and Madam Sun lived inside and out. They didn't find anyone hiding, so everyone felt relieved.
Xiao Wei asked the butler: "Does this Gu Ji have any family?"
The butler said, "The old lady arranged for him to marry a maid a few years ago, but the maid died of an acute illness within two years of the marriage. He has been alone all these years."
"Does he have any close friends?" Xiao Wei asked again.
The butler thought for a moment and said, "It's hard to say who my friend is, but he is in charge of the twenty or so doormen at the front gate."
Xiao Wei said, "Then arrest all these doormen."
The butler nodded to Xiao Wei and took his men to catch the man. The most important thing now was not to distinguish who were the good guys and who were the bad guys among the gatehouses, but to not let the bad guys escape.
Xiao Wei dragged the middle-aged man named Gu Ji out of the yard and went straight to the yard where the old lady lived.
Yu Xiaoxiao sat in the old lady's room, listening to the noise outside. Knowing that her sister-in-law was fine, she didn't rush to move. What if someone else came to kill her grandmother? (You think too much -_-|||)

The conversation got to this point, and the old lady finally broke down. She said to Yu Xiao: "When did I say I like the Ruan family?!"

Gu Ji uttered a sound.
Xiao Wei squatted down and pushed Gu Ji's chin up.
Gu Ji's mouth was able to move again, and his first reaction was to bite his tongue to commit suicide.
Yu Xiaoxiao was faster than Gu Ji. She stretched out her hand and grabbed him. With one punch, she knocked out all of Gu Ji's teeth. She said, "You have no teeth left. I'll see if you bite your tongue again."
Gu Ji had a mouth full of blood, but he did not faint from the pain.
Yu Xiao: "Now tell me who your master is and how many of your accomplices are there in the mansion. Don't force me to do anything."
