Chapter 6: Reading a Self-Review

Chapter 6: Reading a Self-Review

Since there was no need to train in the evening, the two of them went to bed early to rest.

Xu Yucheng was secretly playing with her cell phone under the quilt.

Zheng Yu put a facial mask on her face.

Suddenly, the dormitory door was pushed open heavily.

It was Xia Qingqing who came back. She went to the cafeteria, but saw nothing except the meals she ate every day. She felt a little resentful.

After entering the room, she looked at the two people lying on the bed. They were both doing their own things and didn't pay any attention to her. She felt inexplicably angry in her heart.

"Qingqing, there are instant noodles in the supermarket. How about I go buy some?" Zhao Lingling said.

She was now completely caught in Xia Qingqing's trap and launched into a rage at her, "Eat, eat, eat! Are you a pig? All you know is eating!"

Zhao Lingling was so frightened that she dared not speak and looked aggrieved.

Xu Yucheng turned up the volume of the music in her headphones.

Zheng Yu put the earplugs next to the pillow into his ears and picked up a romance novel to read.

That day, on the playground.

The sun was scorching brightly, and the freshmen were complaining bitterly. After so many days of military training, they were exhausted.

Each freshman class has gathered and is waiting for the chief instructor to speak on the stage.

The chief instructor is called Hei, and some students privately call him Lao Hei.

Lao Hei was standing on the stage, microphone in hand, and his deep voice rang out, "Classmates, the military training life of these many days is about to end. Are you happy?"

When the students in the audience heard the word "end", they immediately became excited and said, "Happy!"

Lao Hei continued, "Your instructor will be leaving the day after tomorrow. Are you willing to let him go?"

"I can't bear to leave."

"I believe you are telling the truth."

This sentence aroused everyone's interest and they responded to the people on the stage.

"Quiet." Lao Hei retracted his smile and became more serious. "The day after tomorrow will be a test of your military training results. We will have a drill performance. Everyone, get ready. Today's main task is to review what we have learned. No one can slack off. Do you understand?"

A lazy voice sounded, "I heard it."

"Louder."

“I heard it!”

"Okay, each class's instructor will take them to training."

Zheng Yu held Xu Yucheng's hand and followed the group to the shade, muttering, "Our class instructor is so good. He always finds a shady place for training."

Xu Yucheng agreed, saying that other classes were standing in the sun and it looked hot.

"Everyone stand still. Now adjust your positions according to your height."

The instructor shouted from the side.

"Ah, what should we do, Orange? We have to separate."

Because Zheng Yu is much taller than her.

Xu Yucheng comforted him, "It's okay, it's over the day after tomorrow anyway, and we can be together again after it's disbanded."

"That's true." Thinking of this, I felt much better.

Zheng Yu stood at the edge of the third row.

The final position was adjusted so that Xu Yucheng stood in the middle of the second row, next to her was Xia Qingqing, who was in the same dormitory.

The two of them didn't talk in the dormitory, and they didn't talk at this moment.

After reorganizing the team, the instructor reorganized the training.

When the class was about to be dismissed, the head teacher Liu Zhengguang came.

He waved to Xu Yucheng and others in the team, motioning them to come over.

Some classmates in the class saw that the teacher called the four girls who had fought on the first day of school, and they immediately became curious.

Liu Zhengguang looked at the four girls in front of him and asked them, "Have you written the self-criticisms that were asked of you?"

"I have written it."

The ones who answered were Xu Yucheng and Zheng Yu.

Zheng Yu was extremely grateful at this moment that she did not slack off when Chengzi asked her to write.

On the contrary, Xia Qingqing and Zhao Lingling felt guilty. They didn't write any self-criticism and completely forgot about the matter.

"What's going on with you two?"

Liu Zhengguang's voice rang in his ears.

Zhao Lingling quickly responded, "We also wrote to the teacher."

"Oh, yes." Xia Qingqing responded.

"Okay, just write it down. The four of you will go on stage and read your self-criticisms after the military training report performance the day after tomorrow. You are causing trouble for me on the first day of school." His tone was not good.

Zheng Yu's face suddenly turned gloomy. She didn't dare to refute and could only bear it silently.

Xu Yucheng's face fell. It was fine if she just wrote a self-criticism, but she didn't expect that she would have to read it out in front of so many people.

Liu Zhengguang left after he finished speaking.

Alas, the two looked at each other and walked back into the team to continue training.

Xia Qingqing, who was standing still, looked at the people around her with resentment, "What do you say we should do? It's going to happen the day after tomorrow."

Zhao Lingling thought of an idea. "Since we're just going to read our self-criticism, we can just print out a copy when the time comes."

"Yeah, I didn't expect you to be so smart for once."

After the team disbanded, everyone rushed to the cafeteria.

"Forget it, I won't be able to eat good food today."

Zheng Yu complained.

Xu Yucheng pulled her and said, "You have to eat something, otherwise your body won't be able to bear it."

The two walked to the cafeteria.

Halfway through the walk, I noticed that everyone was taking a different route than usual, and they looked quite happy.

"Orange, why don't we go check it out too? It's the last one anyway, so it doesn't matter if we go to the cafeteria later."

"good."

After following her classmates closer, Xu Yucheng saw that there was also a cafeteria ahead.

There was a printed notice on the door that said: The second cafeteria opened today, welcome new students!

Zheng Yu was excited, "Orange, let's eat here."

Walking inside, the second cafeteria is obviously much larger than the first one, and it serves more than just stir-fried dishes.

Xu Yucheng looked at the drawing paper on the window. There were chicken pot, pickled fish, casserole, bibimbap, rice noodles, and many kinds of food.

She was hungry just looking at it.

They finally chose the chicken pot.

This meal can be said to be the most delicious meal they have ever had in school.

Today is the first day of school for senior students. Xu Yucheng was standing on the playground, watching the occasional senior students passing by. She thought that Zhou Yichen should be at school as well, and her brows relaxed.

Suddenly, the instructor's voice came to my ears.

"The student in the middle of the second row, pay attention, you turned the wrong way."

We are practicing marching at this time.

Xu Yucheng reacted quickly and reversed the gesture.

As the class manager, Lu Ran stood outside the team and looked at the figure walking in the middle. He couldn't help laughing.

Really cute as always.

We trained the entire morning, and when the instructor finally called for a break, everyone immediately ran to sit in the shade.

Xu Yucheng walked in the opposite direction.

Zheng Yu held her back and said, "Chengzi, you've gone the wrong way. It's cooler over there."

"I'm going to the bathroom, you go and rest first."

"I'll go with you."

"No, I'll be back soon."

When passing the toilet, she just passed by it and went straight to the teaching building.

Along the way, there were old students dragging suitcases. They should all be living on campus.

After staying in school for so many days, Xu Yucheng was still able to find the route. He stopped in front of several teaching buildings and looked around.

A girl came up from behind. She quickly stepped forward and asked politely, "Hello, I'd like to ask where Class 2 (1) is?"

The girl being questioned saw that she was wearing a military training uniform and said, "You are a freshman, right?"

"Well, I want to find someone. He is in Class 1, Grade 2."

The girl nodded and said, "The person you are looking for is in the same class as me. I will take you there."

"Thanks."

Xu Yucheng followed the people up to the teaching building and finally stopped at the first classroom next to the stairs on the third floor. At this moment, she had seen the person sitting by the window through the door. He had a tall figure and was always so dazzling.

There were already many people in the classroom. The people inside noticed the figure at the door and looked over.

When they saw that the person standing at the door was a freshman in camouflage uniform with a very innocent look, they all became interested and some even whistled.

He teased, "Sister, come in."

Everyone in the class laughed.

The girl who brought Xu Yucheng has already walked into the classroom, her eyes falling on the boy sitting by the window.

Zhou Yichen was holding his phone and preparing to send a message, but the noise from the class was too loud. He frowned and looked up casually.

When he saw the figure at the door, he was stunned.

Then he quickly stood up and walked towards the door, but when he passed through the corridor, he threw the book in his hand at a boy.

That boy is the one who just called sister.

The boy sat there confused, but didn't dare to say anything.
