"Haha, godfather, if you like it, come often."
"Come here often?" Wang Yao asked. "Let me ask you, how often are you at home?"
"I haven't counted them yet," she said. "There are still a few days in a month."
"Since you were little, I've taught you that girls shouldn't always think about running away. No matter how big or tempting the outside world is, it can't compare to a stable home, right?"
"Godmother is right," Ouyang nodded. Looking at Xia Yue, he seemed to be about to be ridiculed and suffocated. He quickly changed the subject, "Um, godfather, brother Xia Yue should be 23 years old this year."
"Yeah," Godfather nodded, "That's right. It's been almost three years since I graduated, and I've been working outside for almost three years."
"Well," she smiled, "it just so happens that I know a female secretary in Uncle Zhuo's company. She's a nice person."
As expected, Wang Yao's thoughts fell on Xia Yue: "It's time to find a girlfriend and stop being so unruly all the time."
Xia Yue winked at Ouyang and then looked at her brother: "Mom, I don't see you worrying even though I'm 26."
Wang Yao looked at Jin Lu again. The eldest brother was the one she felt most helpless about. It was no easy task for him to let go of Ouyang. "I don't have much hope for your brother, so don't follow his example."
Ouyang kicked Jin Lu.
Jin Lu didn't react at the time, perhaps because he hadn't received her attention for a long time. He looked at her, and Ouyang winked at him, asking him to say something happy and not make the atmosphere so awkward.
"Mom, don't you always teach us that we have to walk our own path? Then don't worry about us."
"Okay," Wang Yao checked the time, "Is there any food at home?"
"Yes!" Ouyang answered immediately.
"Old Xia, please help me with the cooking. We'll eat at home today."
"Oh." Godfather quickly followed her into the kitchen, glanced at the three people in the living room, and roughly understood what Wang Yao meant.
Ouyang changed his seat and sat among them, relaxing as if he had attained enlightenment and liberation.
Xia Yue looked around the kitchen. They were busy researching various things and had no time to care about their affairs. "Ouyang, I didn't expect you to be so good at dealing with your parents."
"Well, I'm not being forced," she sighed. "To deal with people like my godmother and godfather, you just have to play along and not provoke them." She glanced at Jin Lu and said, "Do you still have tickets for the concert? My godmother and godfather are here, so it wouldn't be bad for the whole family to go."
