Jin Lu was tired of listening, so he leaned back on the sofa, squinted his eyes and said, "Mom, if you are here to teach me a lesson, I have nothing to say."
"Since Ouyang has forgotten you and is no longer with you, can't you let go of this relationship? Find someone who is right for you?"
The two people who were tired of standing in the kitchen came out. In the midst of family conflicts, Dad Xia was always the peacemaker: "Okay, let the children find some rest, don't torment them anymore."
"Xia Yu, these kids are spoiled by you." Wang Yao couldn't get any comfort from her son, so she went to Xia Yu and said, "Why don't you say something for me?"
Xia Yu went over and took Wang Yao's hand. Looking at Jin Lu lying on the sofa, he looked very different from the elegant pianist on the stage. "Jin Lu, the kitchen has made some hangover soup. You can help yourself later."
"Dad, thank you." Jin Lu was indeed tired.
"Brother, I'll take my parents back first," Xia Yue said, seeing that he was almost asleep, "You should have a good rest."
Wang Yao was still worried about Jin Lu, and even after she reached the door, she wanted to go back and take one more look at him. She knew that her son was not physically exhausted, but mentally exhausted.
Ouyang didn't sleep well that night, and couldn't fall asleep until the second half of the night. The next day, she went downstairs with dark circles under her eyes. Her condition this morning scared Dong Ya: "Didn't you sleep well last night?"
"I've been sleepless all night," she said, drinking some freshly squeezed juice. "I'll probably need to catch up on some sleep later."
"Well, why don't you go see your parents? They rarely come over once."
"Why have you become so fussy?" Ouyang shook his head and tried to concentrate. "I don't want to get scolded."
Dong Ya didn't expect that her family would be so complicated. Jin Lu and Xia Yu were like flesh and blood to her godmother and godfather, and they couldn't be separated from each other.
As soon as she said she couldn't go, her godfather called her: "Hello, is this Ouyang?"
"Yeah, godfather!"
"Well, your godmother and I brought you some things from home. Tell us your address and we'll send them to you."
"Oh," Ouyang thought for a moment, "I'll send it to you later." After hanging up the phone, she fiddled with her phone for a while and finally sent them the address of the apartment.
"Donya, it looks like I have to leave today."
"What's wrong?"
"They'll be at the apartment in a moment."
Dong Ya was a little disappointed, but he couldn't stop her from leaving. He helped her pack her things and put them in the car. Standing at the door, he watched her slowly drive away. He also thought of his parents. Ouyang probably hadn't had the heart to work on the case recently. He called his mother and told her he would go back to see them that night.
In order to welcome her godmother and godfather, Ouyang spent two hours cleaning the room. After checking several times to make sure there were no problems, she baked some cookies. She learned how to bake cookies from Aunt Lin when she lived in the courtyard.
“Ding dong, ding dong!”
"Coming!" She went to open the door.
What she didn't expect was that the whole family came.
Xia Yu hadn't expected Wang Yao to insist on bringing the two children along. When she called, she had said that just the two of them could go and see the children, which had made him a bit of a misstep.
"Ouyang," Godfather explained hurriedly, "Isn't it too disturbing?"
"Godfather, look at what you said," Ouyang smiled, "I can't welcome you enough." She was just glad that she went to the supermarket when she just came back and bought a lot of things.
"Put these things in your kitchen." Godfather pointed to the things in Xia Yue and Jin Lu's hands behind him.
"Oh, this way." Ouyang led them in.
The godfather followed them and looked at the things in the refrigerator and kitchen. He felt that girls were more knowledgeable about life. There was not much beer at home, but there was plenty of food.
The two men were sorting things out, and Ouyang took out the freshly baked cookies from the oven: "Godfather, just let them be busy. How about you try some of the cookies I baked?"
"You can bake your own cookies?"
"Well, come and try it."
Ouyang put the things on the coffee table and looked at Wang Yao: "Godmother, you try it too."
"Leave it there."
Wang Yao always treated her seriously, which made her a little nervous, afraid that she would upset her in some way.
"All right."
Wang Yao looked at Ouyang, who looked quite competent in her apron, and was actually somewhat pleased. She had been cultivating her hands-on skills since she was a child, and she hadn't forgotten them until now, which was quite good.
"The girl's house is different from the two boys' houses," the godfather said, turning around. "It's clean, tidy, and beautiful."
"Haha," Ouyang turned around and suddenly remembered something. "Oh, I have some good tea here. Can I make some for you?" It would be perfect with the Jun porcelain tea set, which would definitely make them happy. She had found the Jun porcelain set in the back seat of the car when she was unloading the luggage. She hadn't paid much attention to it when Aunt Lin gave it to her. Fortunately, it was packaged very well.
"Okay." The godfather and godmother were sitting together. When they saw her leave, he whispered in his wife's ear, "Look how good this child is. Can't you just give him a smile?"
All this tea ceremony knowledge was learned from Grandpa Zhuo, it is traditional and authentic.
The family sat in the living room, as if returning to the weekends of their childhood, when my godmother often liked to hold family meetings.
The godfather was surprised by Ouyang's tea ceremony, but in front of his wife, he couldn't ask her about things she didn't understand at all. He could only praise her and said, "Ouyang has grown up and learned a lot."
