Chapter 110: Missed Birthday

Ouyang quickly drove to the airport. Pang Peng ran to the boarding gate and saw a familiar figure. She wanted to call out, but she couldn't. Watching him disappear before her eyes, she comforted herself and waited for the next chance to apologize to him.

When Xia Yue left the house in the morning, he had intended to say goodbye to Ouyang Dao, but he never liked the scene of parting. He preferred to leave quietly without disturbing anyone. So he tidied the living room, made breakfast, and wrote a reminder.

Before leaving, he went to the design company and the designer who helped him design the farm and farm house called him. They had completed part of the work and only lacked the exact address.

"Ouyang?" It was my godfather's voice. "Have you eaten?"

"Just finished," she asked, "Has Xia Yue gone home yet?"

"No," the other party said nervously, "Did something happen to Xia Yue?"

"Nothing," she said, to avoid worrying them. "He's needed for work over there. He's going back to Chongqing today."

"This kid," Xia Yue complained, "because of work, he never comes home again. Don't worry about him."

Just like that, Xia Yue left the city, and it was a long time before Ouyang saw him again.
