Chapter 115 Is your child's name Mu Jiang?

Not long after Mu Jiang started school, she received a notice from the school saying that Mu Jiang had fought with classmates and injured several classmates. Therefore, she had to drive to the hospital to find out the details.

When she stepped into the hospital emergency room, Mu Jiang outside the door was undergoing a kind of isolation.

"Mu Jiang?" Ouyang approached him and looked at his injuries. The hospital had already treated them for her. "Is everything okay?"

Mu Jiang shook his head. The teacher next to him looked Ouyang up and down and asked, "Are you Mu Jiang's parent?"

"Well," the people inside seemed to have heard the voice, and they all came out and stood around her, "I am Mu Jiang's parent, just tell me if you have anything to say."

"Your kids are hitting really hard," a woman said. "Look at how they're beating these kids up." Ouyang looked where she pointed. There were three students, two of whom had casts on their hands, and one had a neck injury. They looked older than Mu Jiang, and she even wondered if he'd learned judo or boxing somewhere; otherwise, how could he have taken on three of them at once?

"Everyone," she continued, "since everyone is here, why not ask about the matter and find out what happened."

It was obvious that the injured children had withdrawn somewhat, and no one stood up to speak. The parents were just arguing over their children's injuries, which made Ouyang a little impatient.

"Mu Jiang, you say." Ouyang stood aside, ignoring the quarrel of those people, and asked.

"It's nothing, I hit him." Mu Jiang didn't want to tell the truth.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, the other children also kept their mouths shut. No matter how their parents asked, they refused to tell the reason for the fight.

The school believed the situation might have been caused by a misunderstanding, and since no one had said who was at fault, they couldn't be held responsible. After consulting with the other parents, Ouyang paid all the fees and compensated for some of the damages before leaving the hospital with Mu Jiang.

Just as they walked out of the hospital, Mu Jiang stopped. Standing in front of them was a girl who looked about the same age as him.

"Mujiang?" The girl came up. "Are you okay?"

"It's okay," Mu Jiang said. It was obvious that you wanted to see her here. "You can go back."

The girl was worried, looked at Ouyang beside him, and asked, "Auntie, is he really okay?"

Ouyang patted Mu Jiang's shoulder and said, "Boys, you can still endure this little bit of hardship."

Mu Jiang scratched his head, feeling a little embarrassed.

"How about we take you back?" Mu Jiang suggested.

The girl was too embarrassed to refuse, so she got into the car with him.

Two people sat behind Ouyang, neither of them talking, but each busy on their phone. Ouyang thought about it and realized that children nowadays don't need to use their mouths to communicate with each other, they just use their hands.

"We're here," Ouyang said, "Is this the neighborhood?"

"Yes," the girl said politely, "thank you."

Only after she safely entered the community did Ouyang start the car without asking any questions.

Over dinner that evening, Mu Jiang finally told him about what happened after school. That girl, He Jie, was the school's most popular girl, in the same grade as him, but not the same class. He had found her on a street corner, and she was being bullied by older boys, who had frightened her to tears. He had then gone to her rescue.

Ouyang nodded: "This is a good thing."

Mu Jiang smiled and said, "Luckily I learned a few tricks outside, otherwise I don't know how badly I would have been beaten by them."

From his words, Ouyang concluded that he had never been a well-behaved child, otherwise how could he face several children older than him so calmly.

"How about this," Ouyang said, "I'll find you a boxing gym, and we can go there to train on weekends?"

Mu Jiang was a little excited when he heard this: "Really? You are more open-minded than my parents. They just wanted me to study hard."

"So how are you doing with your studies?"

He was a little embarrassed: "It's okay, I can barely pass."

Ouyang didn't blame him and asked, "How are the grades of that girl named He Jie?"

"She's in the top three in age."

"Oh, really?"

Mu Jiang seemed to smell something uneasy and suddenly asked, "You don't have any plans, do you?"

"I'm fine," she looked at him amusedly. He immediately became excited when He Jie was mentioned. "You're just overthinking it."

Mu Jiang felt wronged. He could never guess what Ouyang was thinking. It seemed that she was always thinking ahead of him. In other words, she seemed to be able to see what others were thinking at a glance.

After dinner, someone knocked on the door. Mu Jiang went to take a look: "Ouyang, a man." Mu Jiang was a little alert.

"I'll come." She looked and saw it was Dong Ya. She didn't expect him to come back so soon. He opened the door.

Dongya came in and saw Mujiang behind her, a little surprised: "Who is he?"

"My younger brother."

"Why haven't I heard you say that?" He came with luggage, and it seemed that he rushed here after finishing his work.

"It's okay," she took her to sit in the living room, "Are you done with your work?"

"Um."

Mu Jiang poured him a cup of tea and thought his voice was familiar, as if he had heard it somewhere before. That's right, it was in Ouyang's computer. She was always talking to a man, and that man must be him.

"Mujiang," Ouyang introduced, "Dongya, Dongya, Mujiang."

"Hello!" Dongya extended his hand first, "Nice to meet you."
