Chapter 115 Is your child's name Mu Jiang?

What she didn't expect was that Mu Jiang had learned how to cook. As for where he learned it, she didn't know. But recently, breakfast and dinner had become much richer because of him.

Before going to bed at night, he liked to pull down the curtains in the living room and watch an exciting movie. Sometimes she would watch some with him. She preferred art films, while he liked horror and action movies. Before the climax, he would stand on the sofa and leave excited footprints on it.

Even before she knew it, there were more fish and flowers in the house. He said they were gifts from a classmate, but she had no idea why. In Ouyang's opinion, this kid seemed to have a lot of secrets that he never let anyone know.

Another time, she came back from doing something outside and found him standing downstairs. He had poured out all the things in his schoolbag. He picked them out at first, but then probably felt that they were not very interesting, so he threw them all into the trash can.

She often told herself that Mu Jiang was an independent individual and that she should not treat him the same way as the individuals in those cases, so she never pried into his privacy.

When I opened the door and went in, Mu Jiang had already entered the kitchen. When he heard the sound of the door opening, he said, "You're back."

"Yeah." She didn't say much at home, mostly answering him.

"We'll have dinner soon," he said. "You can rest first."

Ah, she was sitting in the living room and turned on the TV. For the first time, she felt something was wrong. She looked around and found that the flowers on the windowsill had bloomed and were emitting a special fragrance.

Mixed with the food he cooked, a family atmosphere filled the whole house.

She got to know him better at a parent-teacher conference. It was her first one. Every parent sat in their seat, like their own children, listening to each teacher's introduction. Of course, there were always some rankings of grades, and Mu Jiang was always near the bottom. She didn't find it strange, since she had never seen him study much.

His deskmate should be a boy, and he is the top student in the class. It was his grandfather who helped him attend the parent-teacher meeting. His squinting eyes made it difficult to tell what he was thinking.

While the head teacher was speaking, the grandfather came closer to her and asked quietly, "Is your child's name Mu Jiang?"

"Yes," she answered him politely, "What a child he is. You can tell he has been well brought up."
