They escaped, and Dongya happened to find them and took them away. Ouyang sent a message to Tang He: "Their target: No. 298 Shenghe Road." The other party should understand what he meant.
After receiving the news from Ouyang, Tang He quickly sent someone to marry No. 298 and reminded Shengda to evacuate his people.
The news the next day was that a murderer who had escaped from prison for many years was caught at table 298, Shenghe Road, and was shot dead on the spot by the police.
Ouyang hadn't expected Tanghe and Shengda to be so powerful, and to be able to eliminate the danger to their forces in just a few hours. She drank some tea and realized they were using the HDA to their advantage.
A few days ago, Grandpa Zhuo personally called Ouyang and told her to come home this weekend. So, after returning from the hospital to treat her wounds, she went to the mall to buy some gifts for tomorrow.
The next day, Ouyang drove to his grandparents' house and saw an unfamiliar car at the door. Through the glass, he saw the very simple furnishings inside and guessed that it was a man's car.
The aunt in the room came out and led her into the house: "Miss Ouyang is here."
Auntie didn't come out. She always spoke loudly to the people in the house, as if grandpa and grandma wouldn't know she was coming if she didn't speak so loudly.
Because of the bruises on her face, she put on makeup today, but the gauze on her forehead couldn't hide it. Grandma stood up first, asked her to hand the things to her aunt, and then looked at her face: "Ouyang, what's wrong with you?"
Grandpa also withdrew his gaze from the guest and looked up at her with a somewhat blaming look: "You are a good girl, how could you hurt yourself?"
"I accidentally fell," Ouyang said half-jokingly, "It's just a minor injury."
Grandma looked at her distressedly: "It won't leave any scars, right?"
"Just a scratch." Ouyang followed her to the sofa beside him and saw the stranger. He was dressed in a black suit, with a bronze complexion and sunken eyes. His hands rested on his knees. He too was studying her, particularly noting her bright eyes. Although injured, they were clearly defined, and her skin was white. She was indeed more beautiful than Mr. Zhuo had described.
"Xiaoyuan, this is the Ouyang I told you about. His full name is Ouyang Zishan," Grandpa introduced. "Ouyang, this is Shengyuan. He just returned from studying for a doctorate abroad."
Grandma looked at the two children with a smile, looking forward to them talking to each other.
"Sheng Yuan?" Ouyang thought for a moment, "Sheng Da is your brother?"
The other party was a little surprised, but quickly regained his composure. After all, Shengda had joined the family business very early and was well-known in the country. It was not surprising that Ouyang knew him. "Yes, he is my younger brother, three years younger than me."
Ouyang blinked her long eyelashes and nodded politely: "Nice to meet you."
"Me too." Sheng Yuan had just returned to China and didn't know much about the situation there. He was first sent to the Zhuo family by his parents. After all, the two families had always had contact.
Grandpa picked up the newspaper and saw yesterday's news. He then looked at Ouyang and felt that what was in the newspaper was related to her. His face changed immediately: "Ouyang, did you really fall down and get hurt?"
Ouyang pursed her lips and glanced at Shengda across from her. Although this was something that couldn't be publicized, she still wanted to tease others: "You'll have to ask your guest's brother about this."
As soon as she said this, the two old men's fiery gazes fell on Sheng Yuan. Unexpectedly, a grown man would be so embarrassed in front of two old men who knew nothing. Glancing at Ouyang, she smiled and said, "I never ask about Sheng Da's affairs." He was right. Sheng Yuan and Sheng Da were two completely different people. Sheng Yuan enjoyed studying literature and was proficient in many different languages, while Sheng Da loved business and was destined to become the heir to the family.
Ouyang laughed out loud: "Haha, Grandpa and Grandma, I was just joking. Anyway, this matter has passed. Isn't it safe here?"
Grandma patted her shoulder and said, "A girl should have a stable family. How can you live out there all day in a daze?"
This sentence made Ouyang alert. It seemed that this was not a simple family dinner.
Sheng Yuan pretended not to hear and continued to immerse himself in the calligraphy exhibits on the wall, occasionally exchanging a few words with his grandfather about his thoughts and experiences.
"Grandma," Ouyang raised an eyebrow, "Are you planning to arrange a blind date for me?"
The room became awkward because of this sentence. Grandma didn't know what to say next and looked at Grandpa, hoping he could help her.
"Look," Grandpa finally spoke, "The chrysanthemums outside are in bloom. Take Sheng Yuan outside to pick some and then ask the kitchen to make a chrysanthemum cake." It was obvious that he wanted to leave the two of them alone together.
Ouyang stood up and led Sheng Yuan to the backyard, where there were many varieties of chrysanthemums, all of which were carefully cared for.
Ouyang sat on the swing nearby, which she had built with her own hands so that she could stay here and admire the chrysanthemums.
"Do you have any tools?" Sheng Yuan asked. He was indeed a simple-minded person, at least he would not act according to other people's feelings.
"Didn't you notice they've already picked them?" Ouyang swung the swing and pointed to the other one next to him. "Just sit there and wait for them to call us for dinner."
He stared at her for a while, then found the tools nearby, picked some fresh chrysanthemums, and brought them to the kitchen. Auntie took the things from his hand and smiled: "Thank you for your trouble, sir."
When passing the kitchen, Sheng Yuan saw the chrysanthemums in the basket, then turned back to the yard and sat next to Ouyang.
