Chapter 121: Become a Brother Again

Zhuo Qiang brought his family into the banquet hall, which was a five-star hotel under the Sheng Group. The guests were all managers of international hotels.

Ouyang followed Zhuo Qiang. She had become accustomed to the strange looks from those people. The Sheng family walked towards them, and Chairman Zhuo politely addressed Grandpa as "Grandpa Zhuo!"

"Chairman Zhuo," Grandpa shook hands with him happily, "Long time no see."

"You are still in good health." The other party praised.

"I'm old," he said. "I don't see many old men like me here."

Ouyang stepped forward and said, "Grandpa, you are not old at all. I want to ask you to dance with me later."

Chairman Sheng looked at her and asked, "Is this the granddaughter you mentioned?"

"That's right," Grandpa Zhuo said, "just being naughty."

Zhuo Qiang took a glass of wine and drank it alone. He had no close relationship with the Sheng family and only came to this party for his father's sake.

"You guys chat." Grandpa gestured for Ouyang to leave. He probably wanted Zhuo Qiang to talk to them about work.

As soon as she left, her grandparents were busy with other things again, so she came to the dining area alone. She hadn't eaten yet when she came out, and now she was a little hungry.

Sheng Yuan, who was following behind her, came over and said, "It seems that you don't like me very much?" He had just deliberately avoided him and left with Mr. Zhuo.

She picked out a few pieces of cake: "Why am I hiding from you?"

The other party looked at her as if he had suffered a loss. Sheng Da saw them from a distance. He had only just heard today that the Zhuo family intended to let Ouyang and Sheng Yuan be together.

Shengda also came over and introduced some good food to Ouyang: "You can try it, the hotel pastry chef is very good."

Ouyang raised her head and saw that there was a person standing next to her, making it impossible for her to move. So she gave up choosing and directly picked up a biscuit with her hand and put it in her mouth to fill her stomach first.

The two families in the distance certainly noticed, and Chairman Sheng's wife asked her husband, "Do both sons know her?"

Chairman Sheng looked at it and said: "It's not surprising that young people know each other nowadays."

"But?" The chairman's wife was not very reassured. Her two sons were still unmarried. If they both fell in love with Ouyang, it would be difficult to deal with. "I'm worried about them."

"What are you worried about?" Chairman Sheng said, "Your youngest son has more than one woman out there."

Zhuo Qiang stood aside, looking at the couple with some mockery. Their attitudes towards their two sons were so different.

Sheng Yuan took out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to her.

Ouyang smiled and said, "You are so particular." But she was not praising him, nor did she take his handkerchief. She put down the plate, clapped her hands, lifted her skirt and walked towards Uncle Zhuo.

Sheng Yuan lowered his head and took back the handkerchief. Sheng Da approached him: "Brother, she is not a simple woman."

Yes, Sheng Yuan did feel it. Her confidence made her look down on everyone and she smiled.

Sheng Da felt that Sheng Yuan might have never met such a woman before, and was probably fascinated by her.

Ouyang stood next to Zhuo Qiang, and the two of them said something and laughed.

The party began, and for the first dance, Ouyang danced with Zhuo Qiang. Later, Zhuo Qiang was pulled away by the other women, and she sat on a chair to the side, watching the people on the dance floor. Grandpa and Grandma, however, sat on chairs nearby, chatting with a few elderly people, so she didn't want to leave at this time.

Sheng Yuan walked towards her and invited her to dance in a very gentlemanly manner. Ouyang saw the grandmother next door looking at her and felt that she would definitely not be able to escape this dance.

The two of them went up, and Ouyang took the lead, leading him to follow her rhythm. Suddenly, she exchanged places with Shengda's partner next to her.

"Why are you here?" Shengda lowered his head and looked at the tip of her nose.

"How about we make a deal?" Ouyang looked up at him.

"Tell me," Shengda was not a man who made deals casually, "I have to thank you for helping me solve the problem last time."

"Okay, then tell your brother not to bother me anymore." She didn't want to become a victim between the two families.

"This is very simple, but you must not be angry." He lowered his head, gradually approached her, and kissed her.

Such a sudden movement made her mind go blank, and she stared at him with wide eyes. He was definitely a playboy, so she pushed him away with force.

Everyone around stopped to watch the sudden scene. Someone made the sound of someone taking a photo, which made Ouyang feel extremely humiliated. She stepped forward, slapped him hard, and strode away.

The Zhuo family members who were standing by also saw this. After all, they disliked Sheng Da, the youngest son of the Sheng family, the most. His behavior certainly irritated the two elderly people. Zhuo Qiang quickly followed his parents and left.

Sheng Da's parents wanted to go up and apologize, but Sheng Yuan stopped them: "Mom and Dad, I'll go."

Sheng Yuan caught up with the two old men and apologized to them, but it didn't make much of a difference. Old Zhuo said, "I hope the Sheng family can discipline those who don't know etiquette."

Zhuo Qiang personally sent them back. In the car, he kindly advised them, "Mom and Dad, please don't be angry."

But grandma said, "How can I not be angry? Look at what Shengda did? Doesn't he know that Ouyang and his brother are a couple?"

Zhuo Qiang smiled and said, "Who is Ouyang? Look at that slap she gave me, didn't she suffer any harm? In my opinion, you should stay out of Ouyang's private affairs, lest it embarrasses everyone."
