After hearing this, Sister Meiyu's face turned a little red. It seemed that she liked Uncle Zhuo.
"Cousin, do you mean that I, Zhuo Qiang, am still a popular commodity?"
"Puchi!" Ouyang laughed, raised his eyes and looked at Uncle Zhuo, "Sorry, I couldn't help it." No one knew where he learned this new word.
"Look, Ouyang doesn't believe it either."
It was over, and Zhuo Qiang threw the ball to her. She began to notice the unhappiness on her grandfather's face. On one side was her grandfather who loved her, and on the other side was her uncle Zhuo who was as kind as a mountain. If this happened in ancient times, both of them would have gone through fire and water.
"Uncle Zhuo," she steeled herself. Grandpa was the birthday boy, and she couldn't let him be unhappy. "Actually, you are really too modest. You should know that you are the best marriage partner in the hearts of millions of women, and I think there is no one more suitable for you than Sister Meiyu." She didn't know if it would be too much to say this, especially in front of the person concerned.
However, she noticed that, except for Uncle Zhuo, everyone else was very satisfied with her statement, especially Grandpa, who started to laugh: "Ouyang really understands Grandpa's thoughts."
Zhuo Qiang glanced at Jin Lu, and Ouyang saw it.
"Grandpa," she spoke before he could, "Actually, I have a question I've wanted to ask you for a long time."
"What?" Grandpa said, "You tell me."
She decided to help Zhuo Qiang get back on his feet, lest he get hold of her. "Look, Uncle Zhuo has been complaining about chest pain lately. You know more about Chinese herbal medicine than I do. Could you please tell me what supplements I should buy for him?"
"Zhuo Qiang?" Grandma was anxious. "You also have chest pain?" She thought that he had inherited Grandpa's disease and was very worried.
"Why didn't you say it earlier?" Grandpa was also anxious and didn't continue with the previous topic.
"Oh," Zhuo Qiang glanced at Ouyang, "I've been too busy with work recently and haven't paid much attention to it. It hurts occasionally."
Ouyang continued to eat, feeling relieved. Her grandparents were most concerned about their family's health, so everything else took a back seat.
Jin Lu sat aside, thinking of Ouyang when she was little. She often pretended to be sick in front of Wang Yao in order to avoid punishment. Unexpectedly, she still used this trick now, but not on herself, but on Zhuo Qiang.
