Chapter 125: Hiring an Elderly Person

After an hour, he was probably tired from playing, so he took out two bottles of drinks from the refrigerator, one for himself and one for Ouyang.

"There's an e-sports competition coming up soon," he said. "I've made plans with my friends to attend it together. Don't worry about me."

She looked up at her brother who was not much taller than her: "Really?"

"Why would I lie to you?" He pulled out a competition form from behind the sofa. "Take a look."

It was just as he'd said, and now she felt relieved. She sat on the sofa, looking a little tired. As time went by, her family seemed to hold an increasingly important place in her heart. She raised an eyebrow and took the controller he handed her. Games were the best way to stimulate a person's desire to win. However, she wasn't very good at games, and she lost more often than she won.

"Mu Jiang!" A girl who had just returned from school called out Mu Jiang's name, "Why didn't you go to school today?"

He pointed at Ouyang and made up an excuse: "Someone is coming home."

"Oh," the girl looked at him and said, "Will we go to school together tomorrow?"

Only then did Ouyang notice the girl. She was followed by a bodyguard, and the car that had come to pick her up in the distance had not gone far away.

"Together." Mu Jiang nodded.

"Okay," the girl said happily, "see you at the usual time."
