Chapter 128: Loneliness Swells in My Heart

The children were very obedient and ran out and followed those people.

After more than ten minutes, an older child ran back, stood in front of Ouyang, and said, "They got on a car, and this is their license plate number." The child wrote a string of numbers on a piece of cardboard with a pencil.

"Thank you!" Ouyang gave them some change and quickly left. She pulled out her phone. Fortunately, she had tampered with Dongya's body beforehand, and the tracker was constantly moving. She threw away everything she had, walked out of the alley, and hailed a taxi on the street.

When she came out, she encountered three different types of people following Dongya. Although she was not sure why, it must be related to HDA.

The car ahead was moving slower and slower, and soon it stopped in front of them. She quietly slipped out of the car and hid behind the stairs.

Dongya had woken up and noticed several people guarding him. They seemed to be reporting something to someone.

"Hey!" Dongya said, "Why are you tying me up?"

Those people glanced at him but didn't pay much attention to him.

He felt a little uncomfortable with his hands and feet tied. He tried to stand up, but fell to the ground again.

"You'd better not." The man who had finished the call stood in front of him, "Otherwise, don't blame me for being rude to you."

Dongya said with a straight face: "Who are you guys?"

"Damn it, he talks too much nonsense," the man ordered the people around him, "Shut his mouth."

Dongya looked at them with wide eyes, full of arrogance.

A group of people sat at a table on one side, some playing cards, some drinking, and some chatting.

Outside, Ouyang called the police to report a gambling ring and then entered through another entrance. Spotting Dongya from the side of some large cargo boxes, she quietly untied him: "Shh!"

Those people didn't notice them leaving, and were even concentrating on their own work. It seemed that these people were not in the same group, or they were not the same boss, or they had their own motives.

After coming out, Dongya sneezed. He didn't know what those people used to block his mouth, and now his mouth was full of discomfort.

"Follow me!" Ouyang shouted from the front.

They got to the main road, took a taxi, and returned to the basement.

Ouyang had taken some photos. With them, it wouldn't be that difficult to find the person behind this. But the most important thing was to find a direction. She heard Dongya open the door; he must have returned the clothes.

"These people are too arrogant and unreasonable!"

"You really haven't offended anyone recently?" Ouyang looked at him. Although Tang He and Sheng Da were also suspects, they shouldn't all be targeting Dong Ya, right?

Dongya's eyes were a bit evasive, which made him suspicious. He sat in a chair and spoke calmly, "I banned HDA for a while."

"A while?" How could she not know? "How long is a while?"

"A week!"

Ouyang stood up. One week? It's not long in this world, but it's not short either. You have to know that the current HDA does not belong to any one person, but is related to the vital interests of everyone. Let's not talk about whether Tang He and Sheng Da will arrange people to investigate this matter or hold them accountable. But what will other people think? HDA cannot operate normally, and a lot of information has been intercepted, especially those big and small companies. How will they view this suspension? A lot of people will think that there is a problem with HDA's security system, and some people will think that it is the management's dereliction of duty, which will be widely criticized. If at this time, various organizations propose to revoke the right to use the "Miss Detective" ID, then they will have nothing to say.

"Why?"

Seeing her serious expression, Dongya was a little worried whether she would accept the following suggestion. After waiting for a while, he still felt that he should say it: "I want to disband HDA."

Ouyang didn't understand what he meant. Wasn't HDA the system he had personally set out to build? "Isn't the system being managed by someone now?"

"But," Dongya's words caught in his throat, and after a moment's pause, he said, "Since HDA doesn't have a strong leader, it shouldn't be operating."

"Are you talking about a shady deal?" She probably knew what Dongya was worried about. "But don't forget, to us, HDA doesn't belong to just one person."

Dongya didn't want to argue with her because he knew that no matter what, HDA had two sides, and this was a fact that was difficult to change.

Now Ouyang didn't need to investigate further. Those who were following Dongya were all members of HDA. In other words, they already knew that it was Dongya who shut down HDA.

"Is the old man here?" Ouyang asked.

"He's already off work." Dongya said.

"Except for him," she said worriedly, "No, he should be the only one who knows about this."

"What do you mean?" Dong Ya looked at her, "Are you saying that he betrayed me?"

"Maybe that's not entirely true." The old man was a computer expert and naturally knew that IDs could remain unchanged, but people could change. So why did those people assume Dongya was responsible? She began contacting some people, hoping to learn more about the last time the HDA was shut down.

She hadn't contacted those "informants" for a long time, so it was no wonder that she didn't know what had happened recently at HDA.

Soon, there was a reply on the phone: "It's a notice posted by Miss ID Detective, and it contains Mr. Dongya's information."
