"When will she arrive?"
"We should be arriving at the high-speed rail station soon," Mu Jiang checked the time. "You'd better hurry up, or you won't be able to pick her up in time."
Xia Yue was obviously a little surprised: "She's alone?"
"Probably not," Mu Jiang said, "She sent a message about them. I think she came with your family."
In fact, this is understandable. Ouyang has finally come back, and the whole family wants to be together.
"Then let's go to the city for dinner," Xia Yue said, fearing she would miss the time to pick them up. "I'll take you to try some local specialties."
"It seems that you can't wait to let Ouyang visit your little home!" Mu Jiang joked.
"What are you talking about?" In fact, as long as Ouyang came here, she would like this house. You know, she had always wanted to have a yard like this since she was a child, quiet and unique.
Breakfast in the city was ordinary, but very nourishing, and especially good for someone like Xiang Mujiang who couldn't hold his liquor. To greet them, they went to a nearby flower shop.
The owner of the flower shop was very familiar with Xia Yue: "Xia Yue? How did you find time to come and visit my little shop?"
"I'm passing by and stopped by to buy a bouquet of flowers."
"You must be kidding me," the shop owner looked at him and Mu Jiang behind him, "I got these flowers from you. Tell me, what do you want?"
“Two simple bouquets of flowers will do!”
Mu Jiang looked at the flowers displayed in the shop. Sure enough, they seemed to be all the same flowers in Xia Yue's greenhouse. Why didn't he just pick some fresh ones from the greenhouse? Why did he have to come here to buy them? He must have been in a hurry before leaving, and didn't think too much about it. It seemed that he couldn't wait to meet someone, and couldn't wait to introduce her to his farm and his little house.
"Okay," the boss handed Xia Yue two simple bouquets of flowers, "Looks like your girlfriend is coming?"
Although the boss said that he didn't need to charge money, Xia Yue still gave him the money and took Mu Jiang back to the car from another shortcut.
