Her temper was getting worse and worse. Whenever she encountered something that didn't go her way, she would throw things. She had driven away two caregivers, and now no one was willing to take care of her. She became even more angry, breaking Wang Xin's game console and computer. Wang Xin had no choice but to take leave and stay home to care for her.
Her anger stemmed from those who had betrayed her one after another. If she hadn't faked her death in the explosion, she might never have known the true nature of the detective agency. Their people had unscrupulously seized all of HDA's resources, driven by profit, and had even orchestrated the explosion, hoping to swallow up the entire Zhuo Group.
During the meal, Mu Jiang sent her a message, telling her that several key projects of the Zhuo Group were being closely watched by the Sheng Group, and all kinds of favorable conditions were in their hands.
She hated that her injury had not healed yet, and she also hated that she was still staying here with nothing to do.
Wang Xin brought in a bowl of chicken soup, but she threw it to the ground: "Asshole!" Grandma passed away in pain, and Grandpa's current body can't hold on for much longer, so she can't go back yet.
"I remind you, Ouyang, that people's patience is limited." He clasped her hands, then brought another bowl of soup from the kitchen and gulped it down. "Our people are already investigating. Don't worry. The truth will eventually come to light."
She rolled her eyes at him: "There's nothing you can do, don't lie to me."
Wang Xin looked at her. This woman was too clever. Now all the evidence had vanished, and the warehouses had been bought by someone else. It would be a bit of a hassle for the police to investigate this matter thoroughly. But that didn't mean they couldn't get to the bottom of it. "You don't believe me?"
"You have nothing to believe in!"
He, a captain, was actually looked down upon by a woman. It was unacceptable. He tried to calm down his anger, telling himself that she was just someone who didn't understand him and didn't know how many cases he had solved. He untied her hands, cleaned up the room, and left angrily.
At night, she would get angry with the mirror, smash the bathroom mirror with her hands, and then sit on the floor.
Wang Xin rushed over to bandage her wound, and then said, "Did the mirror provoke you? Why are you taking your anger out on it?" But the wound was too deep, so she had to go to the hospital for stitches.
After the nurse from the emergency room came out, Wang Xin asked, "Nurse, is her hand okay? Will it leave a scar?"
"The wound is so deep, it will definitely leave a scar." The nurse looked at him and said, "Be more careful next time. This isn't her first time in the hospital, right?"
The nurse looked at him strangely, but he still said, "It's indeed not."
"As her significant other, you can't hurt her too much, understand?"
Wang Xin looked confused: "I didn't hurt her!"
"I've seen a lot of people like you, so I don't find it strange." The nurse walked away.
He thought she had misunderstood him and thought he had committed domestic violence against Ouyang. Ouyang inside shouted, "Wang Xin!"
He went in and drove her home. On the way, he said, "If I hadn't felt sorry for you, I wouldn't bother with you. Not only do you have a bad temper, but you also cause me trouble."
Ouyang, who was sitting in the back, didn't say anything, because what he said was indeed right. It was already good enough that a stranger could help him get here.
"parking!"
"What!"
"I told you to stop!"
Wang Xin braked the car, Ouyang went out from the back door, looked at the direction, and then left towards the front.
Wang Xin was speechless in the car. If she hadn't been injured and wasn't limping, he would have left immediately. But he couldn't do that now. "Get in the car!" He drove slowly, following her. "You don't want your legs anymore, do you?"
If a beautiful woman becomes a cripple, no one will be willing to marry her.
"Go away! I don't need your concern."
"Let me go? You've been eating and drinking for free at my house these past few days, and you're just going to let it go like that?"
"I'll find a chance to pay you back!" she said coldly.
"Okay!" He drove faster. This woman really irritated him. He drove farther and farther away from her until he could no longer see her in the rearview mirror.
Suddenly, a flash of lightning flashed across the sky, and the wind whipped the nearby lamppost hard, causing it to flicker. "There's really nothing I can do." He turned back, but Ouyang wasn't there. His heart skipped a beat, and he was terrified. Could she just disappear like that? The rain began to fall, and the cars around him sped up.
Wang Xin parked his car and got out, searching carefully along the road. "Ouyang! Ouyang Zishan!" He pulled out his phone, thinking of calling the police, but then he realized he was the police, and the person was missing from his hands. He continued forward, searching in the grass, searching in the darkness. The downpour soaked his clothes, and he wondered if she had taken a taxi. No, she had nothing on her, so it was impossible for her to take a taxi. Where had she gone? Committing suicide? No, she hadn't found the truth yet.
"Ouyang," after searching for an hour, the rain still kept falling, "you big fool! You stupid girl! I was just talking, is it that serious?"
He pulled out his cigarette case, which was soaked to the skin. He tossed it aside, and suddenly, a pair of legs, one large and one small, appeared before him, one foot in a cast. He looked up and saw, "Ouyang!"
She was hugged by him, and her wet clothes made her feel uncomfortable. She had just walked in the direction of the front, so how could he find her in this place?
"I'm glad you're okay."
"Let go!" Ouyang said.
Wang Xin let go of her. The heavy rain soaked her hair, and the rain on her face kept running down. He took off his clothes and covered her entire body: "Where have you been?"
