Chapter 151 Wang Xin's Wedding

When Ouyang was inspecting his store, he saw Wang Xin taking his family shopping in the mall.

"You don't have to accompany me. I'll take a look myself." Ouyang dismissed the people around him and walked towards Wang Xin's family.

Wang Xin noticed that Ouyang was also here: "Ouyang, you are here too?"

"Yeah, I just came to see you." She looked at Wang Xin's parents, "Auntie and uncle are here too?"

They didn't seem surprised, but instead complained to their son: "Didn't you say she was busy?"

Ouyang seemed to understand Wang Xin's eyes: "Uncle and aunt, this is also my fault. I didn't say hello to you in advance."

"It's okay, it's okay." Wang Xin's father was very open-minded. "It's normal for young people to be busy."

"Since you're here," Wang Xin's mother said, "let's have dinner together later."

Ouyang nodded. Then, she walked them around the mall a few more times. Although she was the owner, the staff all addressed her as "Miss Ouyang!" This surprised Wang Xin's parents. Even more surprising was that, despite her wealth, Ouyang was a very low-key person and treated her subordinates with great courtesy.

During the meal, Wang Xin's mother asked, "I heard from Xin'er that the shopping mall we just visited is also owned by your company?"

"Yeah," she nodded, "it just opened a while ago."

"Then why do they still call you Miss Ouyang instead of boss?" asked Wang Xin's father.

"Oh," she said, "it's like this. I'm not a member of the company yet."

This made Wang Xin's mother feel strange: "You let others help you manage Zhuo's?"

"That's right," she said, "but I'm also doing some research now, just in case." The "what if" was that Xia Yue quit her job.

Wang Xin's father admired her approach and asked, "Wang Xin's mother and I are planning to buy a house here. Doesn't Zhuo's also engage in real estate development projects? Can you tell me if there are any properties suitable for us?"

Wang Xin saw that they were talking to each other and he couldn't get a word in, so he could only busy himself with ordering food and taking care of everyone's taste.

"Uncle and aunt are coming over?" This is what she thought.

"Wang Xin's job was transferred here, and we don't want to be too far away from him," Wang Xin's father explained.

"Recently, Zhuo's has a few properties for sale. The environment is relatively quiet, and there are many amenities nearby." She was referring to the properties jointly developed by Zhuo and Sheng Groups, which are indeed quite good. "The most important thing is that most of the buyers are university professors, artists, and the like. This will help you integrate into this new environment."

She was right. Wang Xin's parents were worried that he wouldn't be able to integrate into the environment quickly after coming here. Now that they heard her say this, they felt much more relieved.

"That's really great." said Wang Xin's father.

"I didn't know you were planning to live here permanently," Ouyang said, as if blaming himself. "If I had known earlier, I would have asked Wang Xin to make arrangements for you here first, so you wouldn't have to worry so much."

The more Wang Xin's parents looked at Ouyang, the more they liked her. Even when they returned to the hotel, they kept saying good things about her.

In the following days, Ouyang and his son took them to see a house. A duplex was perfect for a family. Seeing that they liked it, Ouyang immediately sent someone to help them with the real estate process and even hired the company's private decorator to decorate the house to their specifications. The two elderly people also put a lot of thought into the details of the decoration.

After a few months, Ouyang was invited to attend their housewarming party.

Wang Xin's work was even busier than before, and he didn't rush back until dinner time: "Mom and Dad!"

"Why did you come back just now?" Wang Xin's mother asked, "I was waiting for you alone."

"I was a little busy on the team, so I'm a little late," Wang Xin said, looking at the table full of food and Ouyang sitting next to him. "Thank you for coming."

"Please sit down quickly," Ouyang said, "Uncle and aunt have been waiting for a long time."

After dinner, Wang Xin's mother enthusiastically took Ouyang to visit the entire house, and even talked about the kitchen for a long time.

Wang Xin's father asked Wang Xin: "How is your relationship now?"

"friend."

"Still friends?" Wang Xin's father said, "If you don't grab such a good girl, you'll give her away to someone else for nothing."

"I think being friends is fine, so we don't get embarrassed when we meet in the future." In fact, that's what he thought. Knowing that they couldn't have a relationship, it would be better to be friends. It would be just as comfortable, just as being around her. So he never mentioned that he liked her. "By the way, are you guys used to living here?"

"I'm used to it, I'm used to it," Wang Xin's father said happily. "The people around here are nice and friendly. Not to mention the environment. I can even hear birds singing when I wake up in the morning."

"That's good."

In the kitchen, Wang Xin's mother asked, "Ouyang, have you eaten with Wang Xin recently?"

"He's quite busy. I've asked him out a few times," and he's been asked to have dinner at home a few times, but he didn't go. "He always said he was busy with work."

"That's how his job is. He ignores everyone when he's busy. His father and I are used to it. Don't be shy," said Wang Xin's mother.

"No, I understand him very well." Like Xia Yue, he stays in the office every day, as if he has to find a job for himself even if he doesn't have one.

Wang Xin's parents settled down and lived their own lives. When they had free time, they would let Wang Xin bring Ouyang back for dinner. Gradually, they came to their senses and decided that relationships should be left to fate, and that children's affairs should be handled by the children themselves. Even if Ouyang Shuan couldn't become their daughter-in-law, she was still Wang Xin's friend, and they had to treat her well.

Ouyang was also very kind to them. He often sent people to bring them some supplements. He wanted to find a nanny to take care of them, but they didn't need it.
