Chapter 23 Bronze Ware

"Why don't you just explain it to your parents directly?" Mu Zishan said, "I believe they will respect your opinion."

"It seems that this is the only way," Lu Yang stood up, "Then I won't disturb you from working."

"and you......"

"I'll figure it out myself."

Lu Yang left the room and saw Zhuo Qiang sitting in the yard, laughing at him. He just wanted to go over and strangle him: "Let's see what bad ideas you come up with."

"It seems she really just sees you as a friend," Zhuo Qiang stood up and patted his shoulder. "I didn't expect you to have been in love with her for so long, hahaha..."

"Get out of here quickly." He was in a very bad mood.

"If I were a woman, I wouldn't like someone as slow-witted as you," Zhuo Qiang shook his head. "Do you want to know who the man was who brought Mu Zishan back last time? What did they do together?"

"Did you investigate them?"

Zhuo Qiang clapped his hands and asked him to follow him into the room. He showed him some photos and the only "fake identities" that could be found.

Although Lu Yang knew that the man was worth a lot of money, he didn't expect that even Zhuo Qiang had only found so little information about him. "Are you saying that Zishan has fallen in love with him?"

"Actually, not everyone is as infatuated as you, especially someone like Zishan who's been exposed to liberal ideas from abroad," he pointed at the man in the photo. "If I were a woman, I wouldn't let go of such an alluring prey. But good looks only work in certain situations and atmospheres, just like how I feel about those women."

"Don't put Zishan in the same category as you."

"Well," Zhuo Qiang looked at him, "You won't understand no matter how romantic I tell you. I can only tell you the truth: she really only sees you as a friend, and the kind she'll never eat."

Lu Yang seemed to understand what he meant, but he still felt a little uncomfortable, perhaps because the definition of the word "friend" was too broad.

Mu Zishan didn't see them in the yard, so he called Aunt Lin and said, "I won't be back for dinner tonight."

"Then I'll ask the kitchen to prepare some food for you to take away." Aunt Lin has become accustomed to her lifestyle.

"Thank you for your help."

Lu Yang came out of the room: "Why, are you going out again?"

"Well," she could sense something strange was going on between them, but she tried not to think about it or dwell on it. "When are you going back? Just tell me. I haven't been back in a long time."

Zhuo Qiang behind him quickly said, "Okay, I want to go and see it too." He reminded Lu Yang to continue.

"Okay," Lu Yang nodded, "I'll tell you when the time comes."

But after she left, Lu Yang held his forehead and said, "What are you doing? You just lied to her, why are you going back now?"

"That's funny!" Zhuo Qiang waved his hand. "Why don't you tell her that you were just joking with her?"

Lu Yang returned to his room angrily, lying on the bed and looking at the ceiling: "You really don't like me at all?" He recalled every little detail of the past, although they were all filled with sadness, but they were all their beautiful memories.

Zhuo Qiang looked at Lu Yang's room from outside. Although he looked calm on the surface, he must have been deeply disappointed. So he called his friends and asked them to prepare an exciting party, preferably with some hot women.

During the evening revelry, Zhuo Qiang watched Lu Yang, who was beginning to enter a state of ecstasy, and said, "This is life."

When Lu Yang woke up the next day, he was shocked to see the woman beside him. He covered his eyes and said, "Oh my God!" He actually showed up like this. He didn't want to wait for the woman to wake up and make any comments about him. He quickly put on his clothes and left. But just outside the door, he saw Zhuo Qiang kissing a woman goodbye. He quickly grabbed him and put him into the elevator: "Zhuo Qiang!"

"Why? Were you satisfied last night?"

"Are you satisfied?" Lu Yang pinched his neck, "You can do whatever you want with those strange women, but you can't drag me down with you."

"Well, it was you who insisted on holding me yesterday, and I didn't force you to do it."

He remembered what happened yesterday and let go.

"How does it feel? Now that you've released it, do you feel more comfortable?" Zhuo Qiang asked.

"good."

"Hahaha..." Zhuo Qiang was particularly satisfied. "Life should be enjoyed casually like this."
