Chapter 25 Ouyang's Help

Ouyang Yusheng's life is extremely monotonous. Although the wealth left by his family is enough for him to squander freely, no one can "talk" to him. He is like a prince who just ran away from another planet. He has to hide in his own world and indulge himself, but he also forces those he likes to explore his loneliness with him.

Due to the unique history and value of the bronze artifacts, she was reported to the local government. In her haste to escape this trouble, she made another mistake: overestimating her own abilities. The police firmly believed that she was the murderer of the deceased in the ancient tomb because she was present at the time of the crime.

She and Ouyang Yusheng were sitting in the same car. If she wanted him to help her solve this problem, she had to agree to move out of the courtyard house and live in the place he arranged. In other words, if Mu Zishan wanted to get rid of those difficult policemen, she had to use his protection. During this time, she reviewed a lot of original information. She didn't expect that the domestic laws were so strict. She did walk on the edge of the red line many times, and many times she escaped some investigations because of the help of this person behind her. She looked outside the car. Now it was not only her who was in trouble, but Xiaoxue and her classmates would also be implicated.

The butler sitting in the front looked at the two people behind through the rearview mirror, then asked the driver to drive slower.

It was a surprise to hear his voice in the car. Even though he spoke very quietly, it still sounded so abrupt in this cramped space: "There's a chocolate shop outside. Do you want to try some?"

She turned to look at him, her eyebrows raised: "I don't like chocolate."

"Then let's go to the cake shop."

"Are you sure?" She couldn't imagine a man going to a place like this popular with girls and children.

"Please go to the cake shop."

The butler raised the corner of his mouth slightly and signaled the driver to drive faster.

As expected, the cake shop was almost entirely filled with girls, children, or couples enjoying themselves. She found a secluded seat and sat down, watching the man, who couldn't order, harassing a waitress at the counter. She smiled and took a magazine from the nearby magazine section. An hour passed before Ouyang Yusheng returned, having only ordered a cake, an ice cream cone, and two coffees. Seeing that she enjoyed her meal, she felt relieved.

His cautiousness made her think for a moment that he must be a man lacking in emotion: "How is Xiaoxue doing?"

The police not only targeted him, but also asked Xiaoxue to go to the police station. In other words, they had already started to monitor Xiaoxue. The housekeeper behind him said: "She has returned home safely. The police will not question her again."

Mu Zishan took a sip of coffee and said, "Okay, let's go!"

"You haven't finished eating yet!" Ouyang Yusheng looked at the cake on the table.

She looked at the cake on the table and saw a little silver-white color exposed in the cut part. Then she stopped, looked at him and said, "What do you mean?" and picked up the ring with a fork.

"Marry me," he looked at her inquiringly, "I think this is the best option."

The butler took the ring and carefully wiped it clean with a handkerchief. The other people in the store had already left, and even the curtains were drawn.

"I think I only agreed to live with you, not to marry you," she leaned back in her chair, looking very lazy, "and there is no benefit in marrying you."

Instead, he was very serious. He took the ring from the butler's hand, stood up, and moved closer to her: "I think I know you very well, and I believe that no one is more suitable for you than me."

He held her right hand and put the ring on her middle finger. Then she pulled it back and stood up: "But I'm not suitable for you," and took off the ring. "You should find a more suitable woman." She put the ring back on his hand.

He turned around and handed the ring to the butler: "This ring is not suitable for her. Make a better one next time." He walked out and got in the car without waiting for her.

The housekeeper arranged another car for her and let her live in a villa built in the early years of the Republic of China. She lived on the second floor, just across from Ouyang Yusheng's room. It was very late when she heard the sound of the door opening across from her. As for where he had been during this time, she had no idea.

The next morning, she got up very late and met him on her way out of the room.

"There's no one at home, go make something to eat," he said.

"I can't cook," she spread her hands, "but you cook better."

"Then come and help me." He moved first.

She followed him downstairs and bumped into him parked outside the kitchen. Ouyang Yusheng was about 30 centimeters taller than her, and when she bumped into his back, which was like a wall, her forehead felt a little uncomfortable. "My head."

He turned around and pushed her head away: "Idiot!" He went to the storage room next door and got a small bag of rice, "Help me beat two eggs."

She took the eggs from the refrigerator, then crawled under his feet, opened the sterilizer, took out a bowl, and "knocked". The egg yolk and egg white slid into the bowl. This visual enjoyment made her a little hungry.

Twenty minutes later, two bowls of porridge, a plate of scrambled eggs, toast, and boiled vegetables were on the table. She didn't reject the breakfast made by this man because of what happened yesterday, nor did she care that she was living with him for refuge.

It has to be said that Ouyang Yusheng resolved this issue very quickly. The police quickly withdrew their surveillance, investigation and charges against her. To a certain extent, she was able to protect some of the customer information.

After this lesson, she asked Xiaoxue to find a computer expert to develop a system in a short period of time to prevent others from intruding.

The TV was showing the latest news, including her own scandal, which was full of official rhetoric. Her phone on the dining table rang. She looked and saw it was Zhuo Qiang.

"Hello?"

"Where are you?" an anxious voice said. "Is what the news said true? Where are you now?"

"It's resolved." She stood up and left.

Ouyang Yusheng patiently ate the remaining food, then cleared the table. When he finished everything, he saw her sitting on the sofa in the living room chewing snacks. The TV channel had been changed and was showing gossip about the lives of celebrities.

"There is a study downstairs you can use it." Ouyang Yusheng said.

"knew."

"Well," he stood up, but then remembered something, "I'm going out in a while."

"My car has been impounded," she said. "Can I borrow yours?" Because of this incident, not only her car, but also her computer, documents, and even her bank accounts have been seized. She can't leave the city for the time being, which has practically restricted her freedom of movement.
