Chapter 29 The Truth

"Yes."

"I'll give you my address later. You can come over anytime."

It must be said that Shan Cong had a very good impression of Xiaoxue the first time he met her. She and Mu Zishan were completely different people. She was mature and delicate in every way. Especially when the two talked about Mu Zishan, their opinions were basically the same, including her habits that were not easily accepted by others.

The sun had already set. Mu Zishan turned over slightly. Her stomach began to call her to get up and eat. She yawned, fumbled for her slippers on the carpet, and dragged herself downstairs.

Ouyang Yusheng was just coming back from the swimming pool, his wet hair drooping on his forehead. "Are you up?"

"Well," she headed for the kitchen, "I'm hungry, so I'm going to make something to eat."

He had never seen her cook, but he went upstairs to take a shower and came down. He smelled the aroma wafting from the kitchen and walked in. She had actually cooked a few dishes: boiled pork soup, shredded pork with green peppers, and shredded carrots.

He went up to help take the hot soup from her hand and put it on the table outside: "I didn't expect you can actually cook."

"I learned a few things from my brother before, so these are all I remember." She also served two bowls of rice, which seemed to have just the right amount of water. Seeing that he was satisfied, she continued, "I haven't made it in a long time."

He raised an eyebrow. She couldn't see that he hadn't allowed anyone else into the villa so they could be alone. He'd learned to cook since meeting her in England, and since then, he'd been looking forward to having her by his side every day, living a simple life without worrying about superficial glamour. A simple meal for the two of them was already satisfying.

He blinked his deep eyes and saw that she frowned.

Compared to letting those staff members work silently behind the scenes every day, Mu Zishan actually prefers to see the vivid scenes of people working.

But he was different. Ouyang Yusheng had always been cared for. Although his family was always full of people, and no matter what he wanted or did, there was always someone to help him, it was always lonely. Now, even though they were alone in this small villa without servants, he didn't feel lonely. It was like the first time he met her under the bridge, a warm feeling. It allowed him to temporarily escape the guarded family atmosphere, regardless of the flowing money, and to experience the vanity of the upper class. At least in front of her, he could be himself, and she knew him for who he was, not for anything else.

Later she gradually discovered that his world was very narrow.
