"Yeah." His favorite food used to be hotpot, but later on, because he was always alone, he never dared to walk into a hotpot restaurant alone.
He trusted her, at least thinking that she and the funds were of the same kind.
She had other plans, and this skill was enough for her to use. In the evening, the two of them put on makeup and successfully transformed themselves into hotel staff, entering the VIP room on the 17th floor.
"Sir, this is the wine you ordered." Mu Zishan took some red wine from the cart and placed it on the wine rack. There was a party going on in this room, and she needed to get the room card for another room from the host.
The boy stood behind her and successfully covered her. They went to the room on the 16th floor, found the computer that Mu Zishan wanted, copied the data from it, and left the hotel.
"Sister, you are really awesome!" The boy didn't expect her to be so bold as to steal things under other people's noses.
"Fang Fang," Mu Zishan said as he drove, "I remember when I was your age, I was also alone for many years."
"Are your parents divorced too?"
"Well," she smiled, "You are not as smart as I thought. If you have any problems in the future, please come to me. I will protect you."
"Okay," he looked at the road ahead, "Let's stop here. My home is not far from here."
She stopped the car and took a wad of money from her bag: "Thank you for these days."
Fang Fang took the money and said, "Thank you for this as well."
This time, the information is for a woman who is going through a divorce lawsuit. As long as she gets evidence of her partner's infidelity, she has the prerequisites for filing for divorce.
Because she handled the matter very cleanly this time, leaving no trace, the client transferred a considerable amount of money to her. She had no idea about money until Wang Yao suggested that she buy mutual funds together. Only then did she discover that she still had a large sum of money in her account.
The bank staff quickly helped her upgrade to a black card. Wang Yao looked at her with envy: "I didn't expect you to be so rich?"
According to his calculations, these recent clients weren't big cases, and it wasn't possible for him to make so much money all at once. So where did all this money come from? She asked the bank to check and found out that Zhuo Qiang deposited a large amount into her account every month.
“So your ex-husband gave it to you,” Wang Yao joked, “This guy still has some conscience.”
If it weren't for the money, Mu Zishan would almost have forgotten the person who made her sad. He was with her before because of love, but now he seemed to be taking on a mission.
This bank card was her only one, so he knew it very well. Therefore, it would be very easy for him to get the card information. Mu Zishan narrowed his eyes, deep in thought.
After spending a day shopping with Wang Yao, my legs were already numb. I went home, lay down on the bed, closed my eyes, and fell asleep. In my dream, I saw Zhuo Qiang. He was still like before, going in and out of places with bright lights and wine, but he was missing his friends and seemed a little lonely.
She suddenly opened her eyes and was startled by her dream. She never thought that she would dream about him. Why?
She went downstairs, poured herself a glass of water, and saw the moon outside. It was already midnight. Through the window, she saw Ouyang Yusheng's room next door. He was standing by the window looking at her.
Under the moonlight, everything became so peaceful, without any disturbance. The wind blew through his window, blowing his pajamas, making him look very lazy.
She turned around, went upstairs, lay down on the bed, and gradually had a different dream.
Early in the morning, before she was ready to get up, she was woken up by the ringing of the phone: "Hello?"
"Sister," Fang Fang called her from her doorway, "I have nowhere else to go."
She got up and opened the door for him, then saw what was behind him: "Are you planning to stay here with me?"
"Sister, didn't you say you would protect me?"
She recalled that she had said something like this, so she asked him to move those very shabby-looking things down to the basement and took him to the guest room: "You live here."
He pursed his lips and said, "The room opposite should be nice. I want to live opposite."
"No," she stopped him, "You're right here."
Seeing her unwavering determination, Fang Fang didn't ask for anything more. Mu Zishan went downstairs to make two bowls of egg noodles and asked him to come downstairs to eat together.
Seeing him wolf down his breakfast, he ordered, "Help me keep an eye on it at home. If anyone comes to deliver something, let him in."
"Sister Zishan, where are you going?"
"Crime scene."
She followed the original bus route that the deceased had taken to Zhushan in the suburbs. She did not notice that Ouyang Yusheng had also gotten on the bus with her.
He sat next to her on the bus. People around him looked at him, especially some single women: "Hi!"
He looked so British that the other person moved closer and started talking to him in English, asking him where he was going and if he could leave his contact information.
Mu Zishan looked at the route outside and didn't care about the people chatting him up in the car. When they arrived at the station, the women who were traveling wanted to take them with them, but Ouyang Yusheng refused them outright.
Mu Zishan looked at the steep path up the mountain. Because the mountain was damp, the path up was slippery. She took a side path, and followed behind Ouyang Yusheng, who was using GPS and had lost his bearings.
"This way!" Ouyang Yusheng said.
