"Don't forget that we are divorced. You have no right to question me about this now."
"Yes," he grabbed her shoulders, "we are divorced. Then why were you angry just now?"
"Hmph," she pushed him into the sea, "Stop transferring money to my account. Do you think I can't survive without you? I'm no longer the Mu Zishan who listened to your sweet words."
He got up. A year had passed, and he was already regretting letting her go. He already knew she'd been in a car accident and was wandering alone in faraway Europe. She wasn't without him in her heart. "Is it him? Are you really in love with him?" When she didn't answer, he pulled her into the sea with him. There, they stared at each other, uninterrupted by anything but the sound of the surf.
She was a little breathless. Zhuo Qiang had kissed her in the sea, a form of revenge, and her tongue had been bitten. When they emerged from the water, she gasped for air and slapped him on the spot.
"Don't try to touch my bottom line." Mu Zishan said.
"Bottom line?" Zhuo Qiang shouted. "Do you even have a bottom line? Ouyang Yusheng is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Do you want to be deceived by him?"
She looked at Ouyang Yusheng on the shore.
"Do you know how he treats his opponents? You don't. Do you know how his fiancée died? You don't. Do you know how complicated his family is? You don't."
She had never seriously investigated Ouyang Yusheng's affairs. She just regarded him as a friend and never thought about taking him any further. "So what?"
"He will harm you sooner or later. You can be with anyone but him." He still hasn't figured out the details behind him, and he doesn't even know his whereabouts when he was with Mu Zishan.
He watched her leave without looking back. His friends pulled him to the shore, saw that his knee was bleeding, and quickly took him to the car.
