Chapter 80 French Boy Leo

She heard from her godmother that Mu Zi'an was her uncle, and she also had a grandparents, but they were divorced and not together.

"Hey!" Mu Zi'an was also a little happy, "Your mother is the same, she didn't tell us that she had such a big daughter."

As soon as he mentioned his mother, Ouyang Zishan broke down again and burst into tears. Her father and mother were both gone, and no one knew whether they were still alive.

"Oh, what's wrong?" Mu Zi'an wanted to comfort her, "Don't you still have us?"

She lay on the sofa, wiped away her tears, and appeared strong: "Uncle, I want to stay in Beijing."

Mu Zi'an looked at Zhuo Qiang. This question was indeed a bit difficult. Wang Yao had raised Ouyang Zishan for over a decade, so she was like a half-daughter to her. Moreover, she was still so young and shouldn't be exposed to the complexities of society too early. In fact, Mu Zi'an believed that living with Wang Yao was the best option. A healthy family was very important to her, especially during this period before she reached adulthood.

Ouyang Zishan saw his hesitation and said: "I don't want you to support me. I can support myself."

Seeing that she had misunderstood him, Mu Zi'an explained, "If you want to stay, you still have to go to school."

"I don't want to go to school."

"Why do you have such an idea?" Mu Zi'an asked worriedly, "At your age, you should study hard in school."

"But I..." She didn't want to tell him that she wanted to find her father and mother.

Zhuo Qiang went out to smoke a cigarette, and only put out the cigarette after Mu Zi'an finished talking to her.

Mu Zi'an patted his shoulder and said, "If she doesn't want to go back with me, please come back. I'll trouble you for the next few days. I will help her complete the enrollment procedures as soon as possible."

Zhuo Qiang looked at him and said, "Let me handle it."

"It's been so many years, isn't it time for you to let go of my sister?" Mu Zi'an said to her, "Although she is my sister's child, she is also hers with that man. Is it necessary for you to keep torturing yourself?"

"Just leave it alone."

Ouyang Zishan heard their angry quarrel from inside, leaned against the window, and watched his uncle leave the courtyard. Zhuo Qiang lit another cigarette outside.

Barefoot, she paced back and forth on the carpet. When her uncle had asked her to come to his house, his eyes had curled up, his pupils dilated, a hint of fear evident in her choosing to stay. She sensed that her mother and Zhuo Qiang must have a story she didn't know about. She quietly went to the west room, carefully opened the door, and walked to the desk, where she saw a photo of him and his mother. They looked incredibly intimate.

"Who let you in?" Zhuo Qiang said loudly while standing in front of the door.

"I'm just curious!" She pointed to the photo on the table, "What is your relationship with my mother?"

He pushed her out and closed the door.

Mu Zi'an had been back to visit her these past few days, taking her to visit Beijing's tourist attractions and buying her some clothes. He also took her to his house. Although his place wasn't very big, it was beautifully designed. Although she didn't ask about her grandfather, Mu Zi'an explained, "You know, your uncle's mother isn't your mother's mother, so she might be a little bothered."

"I know." She seemed very sensible, which was something Mu Zi'an had not expected. Perhaps she had inherited these three empathetic talents from her mother, which made him like her even more.

In the evening, he drove her back to the courtyard and saw Zhuo Qiangzhen waiting for her outside. The two adults chatted about something else, and she went in with the cake she had just bought and let Aunt Lin taste it.

The next day, just after dawn, Aunt Lin took the school uniform and stood in her room: "Boy Shan, it's time to get up."

She rubbed her eyes and said, "Aunt Lin, you should call me Ouyang. I'll be more used to it this way."

"Ouyang, Ouyang, look at my memory, you've told me this several times."

She washed up, put on her school uniform, and walked out of the room.

Zhuo Qiang said, "I'll ask the driver to take you to school later."

She sat aside, looking at his serious expression, feeling a little scared, and said cautiously: "I can take the bus by myself."

He looked up at her. He had forgotten that Wang Yao had told him that Ouyang Zishan had been raised in poverty and that his self-care ability was already better than his peers. But he still insisted on his own idea: "There is a driver who will take you to school."

"Oh." In fact, her uncle had already told her that Zhuo Qiang had been married to her mother before. Although they divorced later, he still had her mother in his heart, so he was willing to take care of herself.

On the first day of class, her godmother in Chongqing also called her. Although she sounded very anxious on the phone, she could not hide her worry about Ouyang Zishan.

She attended a private international school, and except for Chinese language classes, all other classes were taught in English. Her English was not very good, so she would start dozing off in class.

The school informed Zhuo Qiang of her situation, so after learning Siheyuan, she was able to take a few more language courses.

At 11 o'clock in the evening, the tutor who had just finished teaching left. Aunt Lin looked at the study in the east and saw Ouyang Zishan lying there asleep.

After a week, Ouyang Zishan began to rebel: "Uncle Zhuo, can I not learn so many languages?"

"There's no room for negotiation."

"But I'm growing up and I can't stand staying up late every day," she complained.

"That's all Wang Yao can blame for being too lax with you in the past."
