Ouyang Zishan put on his hat and walked out of the police station. He didn't expect that the doctor would turn the tables on him.
Walking to the parking lot, she saw a car with a hospital logo on it. She approached it, intending to puncture its tires with a knife. Someone grabbed her shoulder and took her to the second floor of the Public Security Bureau, where they sat her down in a moderately sized office. "Ouyang, how dare you do something bad in this police station? Tell me, what's your relationship with the doctor who just reported the case?"
She looked at him in some confusion. He actually knew her. She saw the name on his desk: Shan Cong.
"Do we know each other?" she asked.
"You kid," Shan Congcong thought she was joking with him and said, "I remember when you were little, I saw you at your godmother's house." The tone he used to speak to her was very much like his godmother, with the demeanor of an old man.
"Okay, as long as you know me," she took off her hat, pulled out her phone from her pocket, and played him the video she had just taken in the hospital. "Look, this doctor is blatantly assaulting a patient."
"Why are you there?" Shan Cong took her phone. He didn't know that the car accident had caused her to lose something.
"Believe me, I was just mad at him for crying out loud."
"Uncle can trust you," he said, "but you..."
"You're really troublesome," she said, getting impatient again. "Aren't police officers supposed to protect the interests and safety of the people? Why are you being so nagging? Why don't you send someone to investigate?"
She really is like her mother: "You have the same temper as your mother. Anyone who doesn't do what she wants will be scolded."
"Really?" She looked at the photo on his desk of two women, one of whom must be his wife, and said, "Your wife is very beautiful."
"She is indeed very beautiful, but isn't your mother more beautiful?" He copied the video from her mobile phone to his computer, then called his subordinates, "Go check on Dr. He who just reported the case." He put down the phone and looked at her.
"I don't remember her either." She leaned back in her chair.
"She loves you."
