Linglong suggested that she go see a doctor, but she always turned it down. The hospital was the place she least wanted to go. Once there, it was as scary as a pig entering a slaughterhouse.
Dong Ya was busy investigating all of Hong Feng's background. Now that Shi Long was dead, the factors that were unfavorable to him disappeared. As long as he wanted to erase the traces of betrayal left in the past, it was not impossible.
Fenwu knocked on Ouyang Zishan's leg and said, "Boss, I've got a watch on my mind."
"Hmm!" She stretched her legs. "Then let's buy it."
"Talk to Linglong," Fenwu said pitifully, "She just won't let me buy it."
"Linglong!" Ouyang Zishan asked, "Are we out of money?"
"Puchi!" Fenwu laughed until tears came out. "Boss, you are so cute."
"Boss, do you know how much the watch he wants to buy is worth?" Linglong was busy with her work. "30 million, what do you think he'll get out of buying such an expensive watch?"
"What's the use?" Ouyang Zishan turned around and asked him.
"Showing off!" Dong Ya couldn't stand it any longer. "He must think that a watch is a reflection of a man's status."
"Hehe!" Fenwu smiled, "It's a unique style after all."
Ouyang Zishan looked at Linglong, who agreed as if she had received an order: "I'll buy it for him after I finish cooking, okay? He did something big yesterday."
"Oh yeah!" Fenwu kissed Ouyang Zishan on the forehead, "I love you the most, Boss."
While eating, Dong Ya showed Hong Feng's information.
This Hong Feng was not the same as they had imagined. He was fond of charity and had donated a large part of the inheritance from his father. He was also awarded the honor of charity ambassador.
He is very good to his wife and family, and has no bad habits after get off work.
"I saw him at Officer Shan's memorial service," Linglong pointed at Hong Feng on the screen. "To be honest, I don't quite believe he was the one who betrayed Officer Shan."
"You can't judge a person by his appearance!" Fenwu stood up and adjusted his mind to another scene. "I've met Officer Dong before, when I was working with him. I didn't have a deep impression of him then. I only knew that his position wasn't high, but I didn't expect him to be promoted so quickly."
Ouyang Zishan noticed that when Hong Feng was communicating with others, his feet were always pointing in other directions, which showed that he didn't trust anyone: "Fenwu, if you check him, you will always find a flaw."
"Boss," Fenwu complained, "Why do I have to do all the hard work alone? You won't let Dongya go?"
"Didn't you just say you've met him?" Ouyang Zishan said, "That means he knows you."
"Then you still want me to check?"
"You don't understand this, do you?" Linglong knocked on his head. "The boss wants him to lose his composure. Otherwise, how can we find the flaw?"
"Alright!" He lay on the sofa, "I'll go, but I need Ran Dongya to help me."
Ouyang Zishan looked at Dongya.
"Of course!" Dongya agreed.
It turned out that what Fenwu had asked Dongya to do was to have Dongya be his driver, have Dongya drive to the parking lot of the bureau, and then he would go in alone. About two hours later, Fenwu walked out and got in the car: "Okay, let's go back!"
"You were in there for so long?" Dong Ya asked, "What did you say to him?"
"It was simple. I asked him if he had betrayed Officer Shan, and then we had a quarrel in his office and smashed some things. It was a pity, because they looked quite valuable."
Dong Ya looked at him speechlessly: "You are really something," and smiled, "The noise was too small, the security guards outside didn't get in."
The two happily met in the basement, where Linglong was monitoring Hongfeng's situation. He had been enraged by Fenwu and was sending people to track him down.
"Fenwu, it seems you won't be able to go out these few days," Linglong said sympathetically to him, "I just booked a reservation at a high-end Western restaurant!"
"Linglong!" Fenwu chased after her, "You're setting a trap for me."
Ouyang Zishan went back to his room to change his clothes, and left the room with Dongya first: "Linglong, it's time for us to leave!"
The two of them were still tangled up on the sofa. Ouyang Zishan shook his head. They looked like laughing children. It started to rain outside. Dongya held up an umbrella and sent her to the car. Linglong followed behind and took the umbrella from Fenwu who had caught up with her.
She got in the back seat: "You can go now."
"Are you a couple?" Ouyang Zishan asked.
Linglong, who was standing behind him, covered her eyes and said, "Boss, how can you cure your illness? You ask strange questions every day, only Dongya can stand it."
"Isn't it?" She clearly saw that there was a different kind of relationship between Linglong and Fenwu.
"It's only a matter of time!" Dong Ya said as he drove out and turned a corner, "The two of them are so annoying every day!"
"Dongya, what are you talking about?" Linglong was dissatisfied. "When did we become tired of each other?"
As they were talking, they arrived at the western restaurant. The three of them went up to the second floor and found a seat in the corner. Seeing Hong Feng's family having dinner with Officer Shan's widow, Dong Ya looked at Ling Long and asked, "Why are Officer Shan's family members here too?"
"Of course, here, give her a meal."
Ouyang Zishan looked at them. Officer Shan’s wife probably didn’t like Hong Feng’s family very much, and she didn’t allow her son to sit with their children. It seemed that she knew something.
"What can I do for you three?" The waiter brought over some water.
Linglong and Dongya helped her order some food. Seeing that she was a little distracted, Linglong asked, "Ouyang, do you want to go to the bathroom?"
The two people put on headphones in the bathroom and returned to their original positions, and they could hear what they said very clearly.
