"Stop giving me that nonsense. You fired her the moment before, and she ran off to Gu Weiwei's place. Can you honestly say that this wasn't all planned?" Fu Shengying clearly didn't believe Fu Shiyi's explanation.
Fu Shiyi rolled his eyes speechlessly, "You don't care that your son was beaten up like this, but you come here to question these unfounded things?"
"Did your brother tell you to do this?" Fu Shengying asked sternly.
"I fired her, what does that have to do with my brother?" Fu Shiyi stood up angrily when he heard his father not believe him. Madam Fu sighed. Although her husband's opinion of Gu Weiwei had changed somewhat since he learned about her murder, he still hadn't come to accept her.
“What did we do to offend him? He’s the one who’s being unreasonable,” Fu Shiyi snorted.
