Chapter 103 The First Proposal

At 6 p.m., Yingcheng Middle School dismissed students.

Gu Weiwei met up with Luo Qianqian downstairs in the teaching building. Since they had gone to the restroom, the two of them waited together.

She turned on her phone, which had been off all afternoon, and immediately received a flood of text messages.

One message was from Fu Hanzheng: [After school, go to the parking lot at the intersection of Ziwu Road.]

The following messages were from Fu Shiqin: [Mu Weiwei, hurry to the parking lot after school.]

[School's been over for ten minutes, why haven't you come out yet?]

[Turn on your phone and call me back!]

...

Gu Wei frowned as she stared at her phone. What were those two brothers doing?

She already said that she was going to teach Ji Cheng to play the piano recently and wouldn't be back until evening.

She was just about to reply to Fu Hanzheng's message when Fu Shiqin called.

"Mu Weiwei, why are you only now turning on your phone? Hurry up and come to the Ziwu Road parking lot."

"I made plans to practice the piano with Qianqian and the others, so I'm not going back now," Gu Weiwei said.

No sooner had he finished speaking than Fu Hanzheng answered the phone, his deep voice carrying an undeniable and intimidating force.

"We've arrived, come over now."

“If you don’t come, I’ll drive my car to the school to pick you up,” Fu Shiqin shouted.

Gu Weiwei gritted her teeth, "I'll be right there."

Ji Cheng had just returned and said happily, "Let's go, I'll treat you to milk tea, and then we'll go back to practice the piano."

"Chengcheng, I... I might not be able to go. I have something to take care of and need to go back first," Gu Weiwei said apologetically.

Those two people, I don't know what they were up to, inexplicably showed up near her school.

If she didn't go, she had no doubt that Fu Shiqin, that idiot, would have driven his car to the school.

"Ah, I have my exam in a few days." Ji Cheng's face immediately fell.

“If you practice like you did yesterday, you should be able to pass that piece.” Before Gu Weiwei could finish speaking, Fu Shiqin called again as if summoning her soul.

She had to say goodbye to Ji Cheng and Luo Qianqian in a hurry, and ran out of the school to the nearest Ziwu Road, where she indeed saw Fu Hanzheng's car parked there.

She looked around and, finding no classmates from her school, opened the car door and got in.

"What on earth is it that you have to come to my school?"

Fu Hanzheng reached out and brushed aside her wind-blown hair, speaking gently.

"There's an important place I need to go."

"Where?"

Fu Hanzheng reached out and grasped her hand, holding it tightly before she could pull away.

"We'll be there soon."

Gu Weiwei felt a sense of foreboding as the man looked at her with unusual tenderness; she had a feeling that she was going to a bad place.

While driving, Fu Shiqin played a very romantic song called "Love Paradise".

"Aren't you on a business trip today?" Gu Weiwei stared curiously at the cheerful person in front of her.

“My own brother has shown me mercy, I don’t have to go.” Fu Shiqin said, then whistled happily.

Gu Weiwei turned her head to look at Fu Hanzheng, only to find that the man sitting next to her had been staring at her.

His gaze was deep and gentle.

"Where...are we going?"

If it were their company's social event, she, as a student, wouldn't even have a chance to participate.

As soon as he finished asking the question, Fu Shiqin stopped the car and said...

"We've arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau."

"The Civil Affairs Bureau?" Gu Weiwei glanced out the car window. Damn, it really was the Civil Affairs Bureau. "What are we doing here?"

"Let's get married," Fu Hanzheng said.

Gu Weiwei looked at him, then at Fu Shiqin, "Who's getting married?"

"us."
