Chapter 1031 You Have a Very Lovely Wife

"..."

Gu Weiwei knew without even thinking that he and Fu Shiqin had tricked Fu Shiyi again.

She was already used to their antics of betraying their brother, so she wasn't surprised at all.

Fu Hanzheng calmly took her hand and asked.

"Besides the sunrise at the beach, the sunrise in the desert is also magnificent. Do you want to see it?"

Gu Weiwei glanced at him sideways, "Don't you have a job?"

He seemed more like he was on vacation than on a business trip.

"The work is scheduled for this afternoon," Fu Hanzheng said.

In order to stay here with her for a few more days, I'm not scheduling my work as intensively as I used to when I was on business trips.

“Okay, let’s go then,” Gu Weiwei agreed.

Although they have spent a considerable amount of time together, they rarely have the opportunity to travel together due to their busy work schedules and the fact that they are public figures and therefore cannot go out much.

Fu Hanzheng made a phone call to his temporary assistant at the worship center to make arrangements, and the car was already parked outside Prince Walid's residence.

The driver opened the car door, and Fu Hanzheng got out first before reaching out to help her out.

The prince's residence exuded the extravagance of a Middle Eastern tycoon, and the banquet was simply a small affair hosted by Prince Walid's family for the two of them.

Although it was supposed to be a private banquet, Fu Hanzheng and the prince were still discussing work, while Gu Weiwei was with the prince's wife and children.

Although she wasn't particularly fluent in Arabic, fortunately, they had a translator at home, so communication wasn't too difficult.

The prince's youngest daughter, Sarah, was only thirteen or fourteen years old. She was practicing a piano piece before dinner. After learning that Sarah had also studied piano, the prince invited her to play a four-hand duet of a Schumann piece.

Upon hearing the piano music, Prince Walid stopped his work-related conversation with Fu Hanzheng and spoke sincerely.

"You have a very lovely wife."

Fu Hanzheng raised his glass of red wine and replied in Arabic.

"Thanks."

The two listened attentively to the piano piece in silence before resuming their work conversation.

After a brief conversation before dinner, Gu Weiwei quickly became acquainted with the Prince's family, and the dinner proceeded very pleasantly.

After dinner, the prince saw them off and shook hands with Fu Hanzheng.

“I look forward to you coming here to stay for an extended period of time.”

After saying goodbye to Prince Walid and his family, the two got into the car. Gu Weiwei then asked as she sat down.

"What the prince just said meant that your cooperation has been initially agreed upon?"

"It should be, but it's also thanks to you coming along today," Fu Hanzheng said with a smile.

Gu Weiwei chuckled, "What does this have to do with me?"

“During the meetings these past two days, Prince Walid hadn’t explicitly stated his intention to cooperate, but after seeing you and Sarah playing the piano and becoming good friends, he agreed,” Fu Hanzheng said.

To be honest, he didn't expect that the things that hadn't been discussed at the meeting would actually be settled at a party tonight.

"Because of me and Sarah?" Gu Weiwei found it more and more unbelievable. She had only agreed that if she came over in the future, she could be Sarah's piano tutor.

“Prince Walid dotes on his youngest daughter, and he says that her birth brought him a lot of good luck,” Fu Hanzheng explained.

Gu Weiwei smiled incredulously, then tilted her head and rested it on his shoulder.

Fu Hanzheng looked down at her. "Tired?"

"I'm a little dizzy after drinking alcohol."

Gu Weiwei closed her eyes to rest, but the more she slept, the deeper she fell asleep, until she finally drifted back to sleep.

Moreover, she didn't even know how she was carried off the bus.
