"Make a proper plan?" Gu Weiwei raised an eyebrow.
Fu Shiyi nodded emphatically, analyzing the situation as he walked alongside them.
"Now, Grandma and Dad are eagerly awaiting their grandson, and the little dumpling is key, but we need to plan how to make him a help."
"That sounds like it makes some sense," Gu Weiwei chuckled.
Fu Hanzheng listened silently without offering any opinion.
He knew exactly what Fu Shiyi was talking about, and he had already made his own plans.
"Furthermore, we absolutely must not let our parents know about my brother being with you in Dubai, or about him still seeing you even after the divorce, or it will backfire." Fu Shiyi looked at his brother and sister-in-law and said, "If that happens, it will be like our group conspired to deceive them, and then things will go wrong."
"If we don't let them know, what will we say about the child?" Gu Weiwei looked at Fu Hanzheng and said, "The child was conceived after the divorce."
"Oh, it's nothing if it's a month or two different. Just say the twins were born late due to special circumstances," Fu Shiyi waved his hand and offered a solution.
Gu Weiwei chuckled after hearing this.
"So, you want me to put on a melodramatic show with them, a divorce and a pregnant woman running away together?"
Fu Shiyi snapped his fingers. "That's exactly what I mean."
Gu Weiwei looked at Fu Hanzheng in disbelief.
"Is that so?"
“It’s necessary,” Fu Hanzheng said.
It's best not to let them know what they've been secretly plotting to keep from them.
Therefore, they cannot know that he was there throughout her pregnancy and the birth of her child.
Only then will they appreciate the hardship she endured taking care of two children alone and feel guilty towards her.
"I think you two have a real talent for screenwriting."
“This is a necessary strategy,” Fu Shiyi argued.
Only if her father and his family believe that she was pregnant when she divorced, and that she gave birth to two children alone and helpless abroad, and is raising them, will they soften their hearts and be more likely to accept their remarriage.
"You really came up with such a ridiculous strategy," Gu Weiwei complained.
Although it sounds reasonable, it's also incredibly absurd.
"It doesn't matter how melodramatic it is, as long as it works," Fu Shiyi said confidently.
As long as they cooperate well in this play, the rest is up to the little buns to be cute.
Sincerity may not work, but tactics will win people's hearts.
Fu Hanzheng did not object to Fu Shiyi's suggestion. Although it sounded ridiculous, it was indeed the most effective method and coincided with some of his own ideas.
"Alright, we'll have to wait until I give birth to the baby before we talk about this ridiculous strategy," Gu Weiwei said.
The baby is still several months away from being born, and it will be a year before they come back. They're already discussing how to trick the elders in the family when they get back. Don't they feel guilty?
Fu Hanzheng helped her walk for another ten minutes or so before leading her back the way they came.
"It's getting late, you should go back and listen to the baby's heartbeat and get some rest."
"What fetal heartbeat?" Fu Shiyi's sharp ears caught the key words.
"It's a device that can hear the baby's heartbeat in your belly," Gu Weiwei explained to him.
Upon hearing this, Fu Shiyi's eyes lit up with excitement.
"I want to hear it too, let me hear it as well."
"Who do you think you are, giving me the right to listen?" Fu Hanzheng retorted coldly.
“I’m the child’s third uncle, why can’t I listen?” Fu Shiyi asked unwillingly.
He wouldn't let him touch his sister-in-law's belly, and he wouldn't even let her hear the sounds.
Fu Hanzheng looked at him for a few seconds and then said.
"Go back now, take your things, and get back to where you came from."
When she was using the fetal heart monitor, she lifted up her clothes to expose her belly. He wanted to listen to it? Was he looking for trouble?
