Not long after Yuan Shuo received the photos from Gu Weiwei, he forwarded them to Carmen Dorrance, who was in Italy.
Kaman Dorrance was giving serious instructions to his subordinates when Watson took his phone and came up behind him, whispering something.
"Yuan Shuo's email."
Both Yuan Shuo and Matthew knew what Yuan Shuo was doing, so they always notified Kaman immediately when they received calls or messages.
Kaman Dorrance took the phone and received an email from Yuan Shuo. After waiting for a while, he realized it contained many photos.
When you click on the first picture, you see two little children.
The child is very young, seemingly only recently born.
He flipped through the pages one by one, and the more he looked, the happier he became, and the smile on his face grew more and more obvious.
Before he could finish reading, Yuan Shuo sent another message.
"Weiwei and Fu Hanzheng's children have been born, a boy and a girl, and both mother and children are safe."
Kaman Dorrance glanced at the text message quickly and went back to look at the photos.
When Watson and Matthew saw that the man, who was always serious and unsmiling in front of others, was suddenly smiling so brightly while holding his phone, they exchanged a glance and got up to go over to him.
Then, we see that Kaman Dorrance is looking at pictures of children.
Both of them knew whose child he had been thinking about lately, so they knew without a doubt that it was the birth of his daughter's child with Fu Hanzheng.
"Look at these two..."
Kaman Dorrance proudly pointed to the two adorable children on his phone screen, his eyes welling up with tears.
Of all those photos, only one shows Gu Weiwei holding the child, and only her profile is visible.
However, he was filled with a warm joy.
He stared at the photo for a long, long time. She had endured so many hardships and tribulations, but finally found the happiness she wanted.
The people sitting at the long table looked on in confusion at the three people huddled together looking at their phones, wondering what could have made the usually serious Kaman laugh like that.
Kaman Dorrance looked at the photos Yuan Shuo sent him over and over again, and his attitude towards discussing matters was more gentle than ever before.
After the meeting ended and he returned to his lodgings, Matthew couldn't help but ask.
"You, as the maternal grandfather, don't you plan to go and acknowledge him as your father?"
“I and the Dorrance family have already brought her enough misfortune; let’s not disturb her life any further,” Kaman Dorrance sighed.
Now, she doesn't need him by her side to be happy.
He was content as long as he knew she was doing well and that he could keep track of her life from time to time.
"What are your plans regarding Will and the Anderson family?" Matthew asked.
Now it's not just Will and Anderson involved; even Gu Siting has gotten involved.
"Let's wait and see." Kaman Dorrance smiled calmly, showing no concern for his situation.
Matthew sighed speechlessly, "If we keep watching any longer, they'll have a gun pointed at your head."
Those three people each had their own agenda, and now they were all together to get rid of him, Kaman Dorrance, but he was doing nothing and not letting them make any preparations.
“I don’t intend to throw my life into their hands. Let’s wait and see,” Kaman Dorrance said confidently.
"What are you waiting for?" Matthew asked, puzzled.
Kaman Dorrance smiled and glanced at his longtime friend beside him.
"Don't worry, old friend, I want to live a few more years and see Vivi's children grow up."
