"Oh, right, the photo of Fu Shiyi in the room..."
Gu Weiwei looked at him, hesitant to speak.
I just woke up and found the photos were missing, but when I went to make tea, I found them next to the kitchen trash can.
It's obvious without even thinking that anyone in this family would do such a thing.
“I threw it away,” Fu Hanzheng said calmly.
“Fu Shiyi wants to stay here so that Youyou and Tiantian can see him more often and not forget their third uncle.”
Gu Weiwei said helplessly that before leaving, Fu Shiyi repeatedly told her not to let his brother throw away the photos.
As a result, his brother had already thrown it away when he came back.
Never mind, he's already gone, so he probably doesn't know either.
Even if she does find out, she should go find his brother; this is something she can't stop.
"There's still over an hour until dinner. What do you want to do?" Fu Hanzheng asked, smoothing her hair.
Gu Weiwei looked outside and said, "I want to go for a walk."
She hadn't gone out for a walk for over ten days since she was admitted to the hospital and returned home.
Fu Hanzheng shook his head, "It's windy by the sea, and you've just been discharged from the hospital, you can't go."
Gu Weiwei sighed helplessly. Although she wanted to go out, she had to give up the idea in order to recover as soon as possible.
"You go ahead with your work, I'm going downstairs to spend some time with the kids."
“You’ve spent the whole day with them, now you should spend time with me,” Fu Hanzheng protested.
"I even spent the whole night with you last night," Gu Weiwei teased with a smile.
Fu Hanzheng put his arm around her shoulder and asked in a low voice.
"What, you have a problem with me stopping you from taking care of them at night?"
"No, how could I dare?" Gu Weiwei scoffed with a laugh.
He meant well for her, and she knew that.
Fu Hanzheng knew she was joking, but he still said it anyway.
"We will have plenty of time to spend with our children in the future, so there's no need to rush. The important thing now is to take good care of your own health so that you can be healthier to accompany them in the future."
"I know, you've said it so many times, I've remembered it," Gu Weiwei said helplessly.
If she hadn't known all this, she wouldn't have complied with his demands.
“You’ve memorized it, but you never follow it,” Fu Hanzheng said.
They readily agree, but rarely do they actually follow through.
Gu Weiwei gave a guilty laugh. She would usually be more compliant in other matters, but as a mother, she couldn't always control herself when it came to things involving her child.
Fu Hanzheng affectionately pulled her into his arms and whispered something.
"Recently, the Dorrance family seems to be in a rather delicate situation."
The Fu family has always kept a close eye on the Gu family's intelligence, and recently they discovered that Gu Siting has been in contact with Will, who defected from the Dorrance family.
What this meant was something he could understand, and so could Kaman Dorrance.
However, he never had any direct contact with Carman Dorrance, and she never mentioned her to him.
All he knew was that on the day the wedding was canceled, Carman Dorrance met her at Cherney Castle, and he didn't know if they had any contact after that.
However, he knew just how dangerous the situation was for Kaman Dorrance this time.
Gu Weiwei pursed her lips and remained silent for a while before speaking.
"Yes, Yuan Meng mentioned it to me."
"What do you want to do?" Fu Hanzheng asked.
After all, he was her biological father whom she had been searching for for many years. The two of them have not had direct contact since then, probably because of her conflict with the Fu family.
However, if we truly ignore everything that Kaman Dorrance is facing, she will likely regret it for the rest of her life if something really happens to her.
He didn't want her to have that kind of regret.
