Gu Weiwei nestled quietly in his arms, watching her little daughter sleeping soundly beside her.
Suddenly, a sentence popped out.
"Fu Hanzheng, I love you so much."
"Mmm." Fu Hanzheng kissed her forehead.
"I really love you so much," Gu Weiwei emphasized again.
"I know." Fu Hanzheng chuckled.
"I really, really love you," Gu Weiwei said again.
Fu Hanzheng took a deep breath and said in a low voice.
"You've got your eye on me, you think I can't do anything to you right now?"
If it weren't for the fact that she had a child, I wouldn't have been able to touch her for at least six months; I would have made sure she couldn't get out of bed.
He had been holding back ever since they returned from their date, but now she was still flirting with him like this.
Gu Weiwei chuckled, "I just wanted to say thank you for appearing in my life and making everything I've ever dreamed of come true."
After that brush with death, she thought happiness was a distant dream, but it all quietly came to her side.
Fortunately, she didn't miss any of it.
Fu Hanzheng reached out and gently stroked her soft hair. "Weiwei, it was your arrival that gave me a life I never imagined before."
In the past, whenever anyone mentioned the word love to him, he would sneer at it, thinking it was something illusory.
However, one day, he finally met her and found love.
Such a person is like a rainbow; you only know they exist when you encounter them.
If it weren't for her, his life wouldn't be what it is now.
Gu Weiwei rested her head on his chest and whispered.
Are you happy with this kind of life?
She always felt that the feelings between him and Fu Hanzheng were unequal.
Fu Hanzheng brought her hope, warmth, and all that was beautiful.
However, what she gave Fu Hanzheng was far less wonderful than what he gave her.
Although she tried very hard to catch up with this inequality and to love him as much as he loved her, she had very few opportunities to do so.
"I'm happier than ever before." Fu Hanzheng said sincerely.
After being with her, they suddenly realized that their lives before she came into their lives had been wasted.
Gu Weiwei sighed in distress, "It's not fair."
"What's unfair?" Fu Hanzheng asked with a smile.
"You can give me so many things and take care of me in so many ways, but... there's nothing I can give back in return," Gu Weiwei muttered.
Give him money; he's not short of money, and she's not as rich as him.
Take care of him. He always handles his own affairs perfectly and there is no way she can help.
“You don’t need to make any sacrifices,” Fu Hanzheng said.
Her existence warmed his entire world.
"Then I'm getting a great deal." Gu Weiwei muttered.
“You can stay here forever.” Fu Hanzheng kissed her forehead and gently stroked her hair as he said, “I have to go on a business trip for a few days the day after tomorrow.”
"On a business trip?" Gu Weiwei stood up, looked at him and asked, "How many days will you be gone?"
"Three to five days, uncertain," Fu Hanzheng said.
Gu Weiwei sighed sullenly, "Does it really have to be you who goes?"
Since coming to Dubai for her pregnancy, he has been by her and the baby's side. Now that he's suddenly leaving for three to five days, she inexplicably feels that she won't be used to it.
"Well, we have to go." Fu Hanzheng said.
Gu Weiwei pursed her lips and sighed. Although she was reluctant, she knew that it must be a job that he absolutely had to go to, which was why he would go in person.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have left her and the child behind to make this trip.
