For three days, Fu Shengying and Mrs. Fu had no idea that Gu Weiwei and the two children were in Dubai.
Fu Hanzheng continued his work as usual, but he could no longer return to the seaside villa where Weiwei lived in the evening to have dinner with Fu Shengying and his wife.
Then, I worked in the study for two hours, said good night to each other, and went to bed.
Three days later, he personally sent Fu Shengying and his wife to the airport.
After boarding the plane, they didn't have time to go back to pack their things, or even go straight to the company; they couldn't wait to drive back to their residence.
Gu Weiwei was changing her baby's diaper when she was suddenly hugged tightly from behind by someone who had just returned.
She glanced at him sideways. "You're back so soon. Is work going well?"
"It went very smoothly." Fu Hanzheng said.
Gu Weiwei changed the baby's diaper and straightened up to speak.
"Lunch should be ready soon. Shall we eat before going to the office?"
Fu Hanzheng checked the time. "Okay, I'll do as you say."
In fact, he had a meeting in two hours that he had to attend.
However, even though they were in the same city for three days, he couldn't go back to her and the children. So, as soon as he saw her off, he was eager to go back and see her and the two children.
Gu Weiwei followed him to the living room holding the child and found that he had not returned with his luggage. She could already imagine how anxious someone must be to come back.
Fu Hanzheng took the little daughter from the nanny's arms and asked.
"Has Tiantian been sleeping normally these days?"
"It's fine now." Gu Weiwei said.
A few days ago, Tiantian always woke up for several hours at night, which was really abnormal for a baby who was only one month old.
During infancy, a child's brain needs a long period of sleep to rest and the body can grow and develop normally.
So recently I've been letting Tian Tian sleep less during the day, and as a result she's stopped fussing at night. As long as she's full, she'll go to sleep obediently, unlike the past few days when she was so fussy.
The couple sat in the living room with their child for a while until the maid had prepared lunch before handing the child over to the nanny.
Gu Weiwei glanced at the man sitting opposite her and said frankly.
"Fu Shiyi called the day before yesterday."
"Yeah." Fu Hanzheng responded. The two people who called were most likely there just to video chat with their two children.
Gu Weiwei took the soup that Fu Hanzheng had served and said.
He said that Uncle Fu and Aunt Fu had come over.
Fu Hanzheng paused slightly, holding the chopsticks, and looked up at her.
"You know everything."
Fu Shiyi told her about this, and with her cleverness, she must have guessed that he had not left Dubai in the past few days.
"It must have been hard on you to lie to your own family like this," Gu Weiwei said apologetically.
"It's difficult for you, because my family has repeatedly wronged you and your child." Fu Hanzheng sighed sadly.
Gu Weiwei put down her bowl and chopsticks and spoke seriously.
“I have no grievances. I am very happy to have you and the children by my side now.”
Regardless of whether there is a marriage certificate or not, she is absolutely certain that he will be by her side forever.
The two children were adorable and well-behaved, and he took meticulous care of the three of them. How could she possibly feel wronged?
The conflicting views of the Fu family elders towards her certainly created some obstacles in their relationship, but she did not want him to choose between her and the Fu family.
She didn't want him to abandon his family just to be with her, but she also didn't want to leave him.
Therefore, they could only try their best to make the elders of the Fu family accept her and her two children, so as to have the best of both worlds.
