Chapter 1265 Youyou is Sick 4

After being repeatedly persuaded by Fu Hanzheng, Gu Weiwei left the children's bedside at the hospital and went to eat something.

Fu Hanzheng took her place and stayed by Youyou's side, occasionally using physical methods to cool him down.

Gu Weiwei had just eaten a little something when Youyou woke up and started crying. She quickly put down her chopsticks, went over to hold him, checked his diaper, and then fed him.

Perhaps because I wasn't feeling well, I ate less than usual.

Fu Hanzheng helped pour some warm water and fed the child some water. The little guy had a fever-reducing patch on him and kept whimpering uncomfortably.

Gu Weiwei couldn't bear to put him down, so she kept holding him in her arms and comforting him.

Since birth, Youyou has been a well-behaved older brother. He only cries when he needs a diaper change or when he is hungry. Once his needs are met, he will stop fussing quickly.

Therefore, she spent more time holding her daughter, and this was probably the first time she had so carefully coaxed her son.

Fu Hanzheng looked at his son sleeping in her arms and said softly.

"I'll carry him, you rest for a bit."

Although he had tried his best to help her take care of the two children, in general, he, as the father, was not as devoted as she, as the mother.

Gu Weiwei shook her head, lowered her head and pressed her face against Youyou's forehead. She could still feel a slight fever, and her expression became even more serious.

"No need, I'll hold you."

The child had intermittent low-grade fevers, and when he woke up, he was listless and lacked his usual energy, which broke Gu Weiwei's heart as a mother.

Fu Hanzheng couldn't persuade her otherwise, so he could only stay by her side.

The doctor did not recommend giving medication to such a young child. Apart from physical cooling methods, all they could do was worry and pray that Youyou would get better soon.

The two spent a day and a night in the hospital, and Youyou's fever finally subsided, but just as the doctor had said, red rashes appeared on her head and body.

The pediatrician was called over, took the child's temperature, and examined the rash on his body.

"The rash will disappear in two or three days once it appears."

Fu Hanzheng and Gu Weiwei both breathed a sigh of relief. "Are you sure you won't have this fever again?"

"At least not for now, but if the two children get any minor illnesses in the future, Mr. and Mrs. Fu don't need to be too worried," the pediatrician advised with a smile.

Every child gets a minor illness sometimes. Roseola is very common in pediatrics. Usually, parents are just told to focus on reducing the fever and giving the child plenty of water. I've never seen any parents as anxious as they are.

Gu Weiwei fed her child some water, and holding her son, who had regained his spirits, her mood improved as well.

Although I now realize that I was a bit too stressed these past two days, when I saw my son with a fever and feeling unwell, my heart was truly breaking.

"Take your child back to the hotel to rest first, and bring them back tomorrow morning for another check-up. If there are no major problems, you can go back to China," the pediatrician said gently.

"Let me hold the baby," Fu Hanzheng said, extending his hand.

From yesterday until now, because the child is still not well, she refuses to let anyone hold the child.

By now, my hands should be aching.

As a result, just after handing the child over to Fu Hanzheng, she felt dizzy again. Fortunately, she managed to grab the crib and avoid falling to the ground.

Fu Hanzheng handed the child to the nanny who had been waiting nearby and helped her sit down.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
