Chapter 1403 This responsibility cannot be borne

During a break from his busy work, Fu Hanzheng gave Fu Shiqin a few words of advice.

"Have him take some people over there first thing tomorrow morning."

Upon hearing this, Fu Shiqin immediately conveyed his boss's instructions to He Chi.

"Got it, hanging up."

He Chi hung up the phone in frustration and continued attending the consultation meeting.

That night, after working the night shift, I took the hospital's most experienced head nurse with me early the next morning, and we went to Villa No. 7 in Zhujiang Shengjing with our medicine kits.

On the way there, I repeatedly reminded the head nurse of the rules: don't ask too many questions, and don't talk too much afterwards.

When he knocked on the door, Gu Weiwei and the others had just finished breakfast.

He Chi brought people in and, without saying a word, instructed the head nurse to prepare the vaccines for injection.

Gu Weiwei first held the more well-behaved Youyou, and then, after the head nurse was ready, she sat down on the sofa with the child in her arms.

Fu Hanzheng helped roll up the child's sleeves, while Fu Shiqin and Fu Shiyi stood aside, their hearts pounding as they looked at the sharp syringe needle.

"Couldn't you... use a thinner needle?"

His little Youyou's arms are so delicate, how much pain must it hurt to get a needle in like that?

"This is already the smallest needle available," He Chi muttered speechlessly.

The head nurse approached with a syringe, first disinfecting Youyou's arm, and was about to insert the needle.

Fu Shiqin said nervously, "Wait a minute, be gentle."

Fu Shiqin also expressed his concern, "Don't hurt him."

The head nurse's hands, which were not usually trembling, started shaking a little when she was being stared at by several people.

Gu Weiwei glanced at the head nurse and said, "Let's begin."

The head nurse found a good spot and skillfully inserted the needle.

Youyou didn't react at first, and after a couple of seconds of stunned silence, she burst into tears.

However, by the time he remembered to cry, the needle had already been removed.

Fu Hanzheng carefully pressed a cotton ball against the needle prick, while Gu Weiwei held her tearful son with heartache.

Sure enough, every child is afraid of injections. Even Youyou, who doesn't usually cry much, cried when he got a shot.

When Tian Tian heard her brother crying, she glanced over and seemed frightened. She pouted and was about to cry herself.

Fu Shiqin and Fu Shiyi quickly picked up Tian Tian and walked away, using toys and food to distract her.

Gu Weiwei carried the sobbing Youyou around the room. The little guy was lying on her shoulder, tears still on his face, looking both cute and pitiful.

However, being the older brother, he was fine after about ten minutes.

Gu Weiwei handed her son to Fu Hanzheng to hold, and then went to hug her little daughter, who had been taken aside by Fu Shiqin and the others.

Fu Shiqin, however, held onto Tian Tian and refused to give her to him, saying, "Sister-in-law, can we not hit her?"

Even someone as well-behaved as Youyou cried like that, so wouldn't Tiantian, this spoiled brat, be crying so hard it would break their hearts?

"If you don't get vaccinated, will you take responsibility if you get sick?" Gu Weiwei asked coldly.

Fu Shiqin felt sorry for the child, but he still sent him over, because he couldn't bear the responsibility.

Gu Weiwei held her daughter and comforted her for a while. Once the head nurse was ready, she took her daughter to sit down and rolled up her sleeves.

The little girl didn't know she was looking for a needle; she was happily playing with a toy in her lap.

The head nurse was indeed very experienced; she inserted the needle and removed it in just a few seconds.

As soon as the needle was removed, the little girl burst into tears and cried even harder than her brother.

Fu Shiqin and Fu Shiyi tried to coax the little girl with toys and cookies, but she wasn't interested in anything and just cried loudly.

Although Youyou cried, she was comforted in a few minutes, but Tiantian cried for more than ten minutes before she finally stopped, probably because she was crying so much.

However, she was still sobbing in her arms, her big eyes glistening with tears.
