“It’s difficult,” Fu Shiqin said without hesitation.
They are not allowed to participate in such private matters within the Qin family.

After saying that, he picked up his Hermès bag and strode out of Fu Hanzheng's office.
Fu Shiqin watched her leave and clicked his tongue in disapproval.

"Cousin, you're back! Auntie and I made your favorite soup." Meng Ruya smiled gently when she saw her.
Qin Man tossed her bag onto the sofa. "Mom, can't you let me have a proper meal?"
"What is it now?" Madam Qin asked, her face darkening.
"Her presence is ruining my appetite." Qin Man stared intently at Meng Ruya, who was completely unfazed by her presence, suppressing her anger.
Meng Ruya pursed her lips, remained awkwardly silent for a few seconds, and then took off her apron and said.
"Auntie, I just remembered I have something to take care of. You guys eat first, I'll head back now."
"Why are you leaving? You've been helping out all day. Let's eat dinner first." Madam Qin pulled Meng Ruya back and said to Qin Man, "If you don't have an appetite, then don't eat."
"Auntie, I'd better go back. I really have something to do." Meng Ruya looked like she was going to compromise for Qin Man's sake.
The more she acted this way, the more Qin Fu detained her, and even scolded Qin Man a few times.

Qin Man snorted coldly. If she hadn't been unable to enter the Fu family, would she have settled for second best?
