Gu Siting finished the cake with satisfaction and smiled deeply.
"The cakes from this shop are still as good as ever."
"So the birthday cake has to taste like this too?" Gu Weiwei asked with a smile.
Gu Siting chuckled, "I'm glad you like it."
"What do you mean 'as long as I like it'? It's not like it's my birthday," Gu Weiwei said.
Gu Siting took a tissue and wiped the cake crumbs off his lips. "You can make it however you want."
Gu Weiwei nodded, then remembered something important and spoke.
"I can't find my phone."
"You lost your phone, we'll buy you a new one in a few days."
"It'll be a few more days. What am I going to do if I need to call Aunt Gu and Yan Yan?" Gu Weiwei said dejectedly.
Gu Siting remained silent for a moment before speaking patiently.
“Ling Yan went abroad to participate in an event and won’t be here for the next few days. My mother is also busy recently, so I’m afraid she won’t have time to spend with us.”
“It can’t just be me and Zhixiong, that would be too lonely.” Gu Weiwei thought for a moment and then suddenly had an idea. “How about we throw a party? It’s been a long time since we had one.”
"Next time, I don't want too many people," Gu Siting gently objected to her idea of throwing a party.
In her current state, she cannot allow more people to discover her.
"Oh." Gu Weiwei pouted regretfully.
"I still have some work to do, I'll wait a little longer," Gu Siting said.
Gu Weiwei nodded and waited silently in the office until he finished his work.
The two had just returned to the lab from the company when Gu Weiwei went to the restroom. As soon as she entered, she heard a scream.
Gu Siting went over and knocked on the door, "Weiwei?"
Gu Weiwei opened the door and pointed incredulously at herself in the mirror.
"This isn't me, this isn't me, how did my face become like this?"
Gu Siting said calmly, "You were in a car accident and your face was disfigured, so you had plastic surgery."
"A car accident?" Gu Weiwei rubbed her throbbing head and muttered, "But... but how did it end up like this?"
"If you don't like how you look now, you can have surgery again to look the same as before in the future," Gu Siting comforted him.
Gu Weiwei seemed to have suffered a great blow. She came out of the bathroom and sat blankly on the sofa, rubbing her head as she spoke.
"My head... hurts so much."
Gu Siting gave her the painkillers again, "Take the medicine, it will make you feel better."
Gu Weiwei couldn't accept her new face for a while, but after Gu Siting explained and persuaded her, she finally believed that she had been disfigured in a car accident.
It took several hours for me to calm down.

Gu Weiwei took painkillers, but she was still a little down because of the change in her appearance.
Gu Siting sat opposite her, stared at her for a long time, and then spoke.
