Chapter 1924 Fu Hanzheng, Disliked by His Whole Family

Fu Shengying listened and echoed her words.

"He can do something like this, he deserves to be taught a lesson."

Yuan Meng and Yuan Shuo walked behind, exchanging a speechless glance. So, Fu Hanzheng was the son they had taken in?

The son and daughter-in-law had a fight, and instead of trying to reconcile them, the son encouraged the daughter-in-law to teach her son a lesson.

"Dinner is ready. We've been waiting for you to come over and eat together since we got your call." Mrs. Fu carried her granddaughter into the house and went straight to the dining room.

Grandma Fu looked at the two little ones and teased Tian Tian.

"Oh, you're back again. Do you still recognize your great-grandmother?"

The little girl spotted the food in her hand, giggled, and reached out to grab it, causing everyone at the table to burst into laughter.

Gu Weiwei went to wash her hands and had just sat down to eat when Fu Hanzheng rushed back in a hurry.

"Why didn't you tell me you were bringing the child back?"

Before Gu Weiwei could speak, Fu Shengying, holding her grandson, slammed her chopsticks down.

"Hey, what's with that tone? Does she have to report to you just because she brought the child back?"

Fu Hanzheng frowned, glanced at Fu Shengying, and then looked at Gu Weiwei and said gently.

"If there's something bothering you, we can talk it out. Why did you come all this way here when it's already dark?"

Upon hearing this, Madam Fu was also displeased.

"You've all disappeared without a trace, and you won't even let Weiwei bring the two kids back to keep us company?"

Yuan Shuo and Yuan Meng suppressed their laughter, ate their meals quietly, and focused on watching the play.

Fu Hanzheng looked at Madam Fu in disbelief. He and Weiwei were discussing their relationship issues; why were they interrupting?

Moreover, he spoke as if he had committed some heinous crime, something utterly unforgivable.

Gu Weiwei was also stunned. She just felt that Fu Hanzheng was faking his injury, which made her take care of him and worry for so long. She was a little angry, so she brought the child to the Fu family's old house to ignore him for a few days so that he would remember his mistake.

It feels like the conflict is escalating.

"Go wait in the living room. We can talk about it after we finish eating," said Grandma Fu.

Fu Hanzheng sat down in an empty seat at the dining table, but Fu Shengying coldly addressed the maid who was preparing his bowl and chopsticks.

"No need to prepare anything for him, he should have already eaten."

“I didn’t eat,” Fu Hanzheng said in a deep voice.

Dinner was ready at home, but she took the children and left. He had no desire to stay for dinner.

“I didn’t prepare anything for you,” Fu Shengying said.

The maid looked at Fu Hanzheng, then at Fu Shengying, unsure whether to give her the bowl and chopsticks or not.

So, while everyone else at the table was eating, Fu Hanzheng sat there alone watching them eat.

After dinner, Gu Weiwei took the two children to take a bath. Fu Hanzheng wanted to help, but Madam Fu and Fu Shengying were both helping, so he had no chance to get involved.

Finally, Gu Weiwei came out after bathing and changing the two children.

"Weiwei, let's talk somewhere else."

"If there's anything you can't say here, say it here," Fu Shengying said, holding her adorable granddaughter.

Fu Hanzheng glanced at Fu Shengying, who kept interrupting, and said, "This is our business, can you please stop interfering?"

"You pretended to be injured to deceive people, and now you won't let people talk about it?" Fu Shengying gave him a cold sidelong glance.

Seeing how pitifully he was being bullied by Fu Shengying and Madam Fu, Gu Weiwei walked towards the courtyard outside.

"Let's talk outside."

No sooner had they gone out than Fu Shengying stood on the balcony, holding her grandson and watching them, muttering to herself.

"Is he trying to trick Weiwei into taking the child back again?"

They've finally welcomed their grandchildren to stay with them; they can't let him take them back so soon.
