Chapter 1964 I like your good looks

Gu Weiwei watched the two cars drive away before exchanging a glance with Fu Hanzheng and getting into her car.

"Has this offended the Qin family too badly?"

Fu Hanzheng started the car and said calmly.

"There's no question of offending anyone, since we won't have any further contact anyway."

Their collusion with the Gu family to kidnap You Gu has crossed the line for their entire family. Since they disregarded the long-standing relationship between the two families, he doesn't need to give them any more face.

Hearing him say that, Gu Weiwei felt no more guilty.

Fu Hanzheng focused on driving the whole way, while Gu Weiwei was engrossed in playing on her phone.

Fu Hanzheng glanced at her a few times and asked with dissatisfaction.

"What are you looking at?"

“A scarf,” Gu Weiwei said, swiping through pictures on her phone. “I saw some knitting needles on the street today; you can knit them yourself.”

Fu Hanzheng roughly guessed that she wanted to knit the scarf herself, "Is there any for me?"

"Count you in, and knit a little scarf for Youyou and Tiantian too," Gu Weiwei said with a smile.

The two chatted idly as they returned to the Fu family's old residence.

Fu Hanzheng stopped the car, and Gu Weiwei held her phone out to him.

"I picked out a few colors, which one do you like?"

Fu Hanzheng glanced at it and said in a low voice.

"I like your good looks."

Gu Weiwei chuckled and patted him on the shoulder.

"I'm being serious with you."

“I’m being serious too,” Fu Hanzheng said with a low laugh.

Gu Weiwei glanced at him and then prepared to get out of the car.

"Wait." Fu Hanzheng reached out and grabbed her.

"What are you doing?" Gu Weiwei asked, turning her head.

Fu Hanzheng leaned forward slightly, "Give me a kiss."

Gu Weiwei glanced outside to make sure no one was there before leaning in and giving him a kiss.

Fu Hanzheng, however, was not satisfied. He held her cheek with one hand and forced her to kiss him in the car for several minutes before letting her out.

As soon as they entered the house, Madam Fu held Tian Tian and asked.

"Weiwei, why is your face so red?"

Gu Weiwei chuckled dryly, "The car's heating is too strong."

Yuan Meng looked over with a smirk on her face.

Their faces were so red, and their lips were so red too; they must have been kissing too much in public.

"By the way, Shi Yi said you encountered people from the Qin family?" Madam Fu asked.

Fu Hanzheng said coldly, "They're at a social event; they're also having their engagement banquet at that hotel."

"What about the dress? Did Meng Ruya really steal our custom-made dress?" Madam Fu asked, her face grim.

Because their previous wedding was canceled, she and the old lady went to great lengths to prepare for another wedding.

As a result, the dress she had ordered was stolen by Meng Ruya.

Looking back now, I realize how blind I was to have treated her like a daughter.

"It's already been taken care of," Fu Hanzheng said.

It's likely that Zhou Huai'an told the third brother, who then called home to tell his family about it.

Upon hearing this, Fu Shengying glanced at Madam Fu.

"You were so eager to give this kind of person to your son back then."

Although he didn't think much of the daughter-in-law Han Zheng had chosen before, he now finds her more and more pleasing to the eye, feeling that there's no one else in the world as good as her.

After hearing this, Old Mrs. Fu still spoke up for Mrs. Fu.

"Alright, do you think your own judgment is any better? It's my eldest grandson who has the best judgment."

His family introduced him to so many women in various ways, and at first he was unaware of it and was even tricked into meeting them.

Later, he simply stopped showing his face whenever such things happened.

Just when everyone thought he was planning to stay single for the rest of his life, he found someone and, for the first time ever, doted on her.
