After a long silence, Fu Shiqin asked a question out of the blue.
"Fu Shiyi, what's a girl thinking if she doesn't treat her boyfriend like a boyfriend?"
Fu Shiyi paused for a few seconds, "Of course it's because I don't like it that much, what other reason could there be?"
Fu Shiqin sighed almost imperceptibly. It turned out that winning a girl's favor was not such an easy thing after all.
"Fu Xiaoer, you mean Ling Jiao doesn't like you that much, right?" Fu Shiyi cleverly saw through the other person's thoughts and snorted, "I knew it, your relationship is fake."
"Don't you have any idea how many times Ding Dongdong has rejected you?" Fu Shiqin retorted.
Laughing at him now means he's forgotten how miserable he was back then.
Fu Shiyi coughed twice and said.
"Hey, tell me specifically why she doesn't treat you like her boyfriend?"
"She doesn't like me giving her things, and she always tries every means to pay me back," Fu Shiqin said dejectedly.
Fu Shiyi burst into laughter upon hearing this, "My God, Ling Jiao is too amazing!"
"Have you laughed enough?!" Fu Shiqin gritted his teeth in anger.
Fu Shiyi took a long time to stop laughing. "This is more than just not liking you that much, it's that I don't like you at all. I'm just curious, how did you two get together in the first place?"
If a girl has feelings for a guy, she wouldn't be so ruthless as to not want to take any advantage of him at all.
Ling Jiao's actions clearly indicate that she doesn't want to have too much of a entanglement with him.
"Don't worry about that, just tell me how." Fu Shiqin didn't want to explain the problem to him.
Fu Shiyi is already laughing like this over this one thing. If he knew that this girlfriend was fake, he would be laughing even harder.
“Girls like Ling Jiao who are too independent and self-centered won’t benefit from giving gifts. You need to spend more time with her and be considerate, so she can’t live without you. You can learn this from my brother,” Fu Shiyi said.
Fu Shiqin nodded thoughtfully, "That seems to make some sense."
"It's not just that it seems to make some sense, it makes a lot of sense," Fu Shiyi corrected.
Fu Shiqin saw from afar that Ling Jiao had finished filming her last scene and was preparing to wrap up, so he hurriedly said something.
"Alright, I'm not talking to you anymore. Did you find the person at that wonton shop near her school that I asked you to look for?"
“I found it.” Fu Shiyi smiled and asked, “But I’ve taken the time out of my busy schedule to help you, so you should at least do something for me.”
"How much meaning do you want?" Fu Shiqin asked.
Fu Shiyi knew there was a chance, and said with a grin.
"I won't pay back the money I borrowed from you to buy the car."
"Eighteen million! You think you can just refuse to pay it back? Do you want to die?" Fu Shiqin roared.
Fu Shiyi knew his request was a bit excessive, so he backed down and said...
"Then round it down for me."
"Get lost! I'll just round down the price by eight million. What are you waiting for?" Fu Shiqin was furious. This was just taking advantage of his misfortune.
"I went to great lengths to find out all this information for you," Fu Shiyi snorted and said, "Since you don't want to know, then forget it."
"Three million, that's the most I can offer." Fu Shiqin made the biggest concession he could.
"Okay." Fu Shiyi agreed with satisfaction, and then said, "I've found the person for you. I'll send you the phone number and address in a bit."
"That's more like it," Fu Shiqin scoffed.
"Oh, by the way, Ling Jiao had a first boyfriend when she was in school. If you want to know, I'll give her a little something later." Fu Shiyi said, then hung up the phone smugly.
Fu Shiqin was so angry he wanted to smash his phone. He vowed to make him return the money when he got back.
