Ling Jiao was busy filming, and it was past 2 a.m. when she finished work.
Back at the hotel, she removed her makeup, washed up, and went to sleep, paying no attention to what Fu Shiqin might be up to.
The work began the next afternoon. Before setting off, Ling Jiao brushed her teeth again and used mouthwash.
Fu Shiqin stood leaning against the bathroom door, asking, "Why are you rinsing your mouth and brushing your teeth? Is all this preparation really necessary?"
“Otherwise, should I chew two cloves of garlic before going?” Ling Jiao wiped the water from her mouth and said, “That’s the least respect and morality one can show to a business partner.”
Fu Shiqin remained silent, waiting for her to finish packing before accompanying her to the film set.

He's only pretending to be jealous; he's not really jealous, so it's impossible for him to truly care.

Ling Jiao smiled, looked down at the script, and didn't say anything.
"Let's try to get it in one take."
Although kissing scenes are unavoidable in filming, it's best to get them done in one take and avoid repeated takes. It's awkward for everyone to keep filming the same scene over and over again.
"Definitely," Lin Mo nodded and smiled.
Fu Shiqin sat to the side, smiling without saying a word, waiting for the two to finish their makeup and rehearse their lines.
An hour later, someone came to inform us that we were ready to start filming.
Lin Mo and Ling Jiao went out, and the filming location was always well-arranged.
As dusk falls and the landscape unfolds like a painting, all groups are ready and in place.
The two lead actors, Ling Jiao and Lin Mo, entered the scene, followed by a scene where they cleared up a misunderstanding before the kissing scene.
The two actors were in excellent form and completed the scene in one go. After the misunderstanding was cleared up, the scene was a kiss between the male and female leads.
The two stood very close. Lin Mo slowly raised his hand to cup Ling Jiao's face, gazing at her with deep affection, his eyes filled with tenderness.
Just as he was about to kiss her, the director shouted.
“Cut!”
Lin Mo stopped, turned around, and asked.
"Director, is something wrong?"
“No problem, that performance was excellent.” The director looked at the two with a smile and said, “Let’s have someone else shoot the last shot.”
"Change to someone else?" Lin Mo asked in surprise.
The last shot is a kissing scene. Who should we recast to film it?
The director approached the two of them and whispered.
"As you all know, the last scene was a kissing scene, but Ling Jiao's boyfriend was sitting there watching."
Lin Mo glanced in Fu Shiqin's direction, "But, just now Young Master Fu said he doesn't mind."
"If you didn't see it, you wouldn't mind, but if you did see it, how could you not mind?" the director said.
"Then who should take the filming?" Lin Mo pressed.
Upon hearing this, the director turned to the assistant director and spoke.
"Go check if the stand-in is ready."
"A stand-in?" Lin Mo asked in surprise.
A few minutes later, someone brought over a female stunt double dressed in the same costume as Ling Jiao.
From the side, he really does look like Ling Jiao.
Lin Mo looked at it and said with an incredulous expression.
"Director, it's just a kissing scene, why do you need a body double?"
It's common to use stunt doubles for action scenes and nude scenes, but this is the first time he's ever seen a stunt double used for a kissing scene.
Ling Jiao rubbed her forehead, feeling a bit embarrassed and ashamed.
