Fu Shiqin listened, but could not agree with Fu Shiyi's point of view.
"Don't talk about liking someone so selflessly, it's impossible."
"If it weren't for the possibility of being together in the end, I wouldn't go to so much trouble to like someone."

His brother also said he wouldn't put pressure on his sister-in-law, but after going through all that trouble, he still managed to trick her into marrying him.
Ding Dongdong has had a crush on Fu Shiyi for so many years, almost ten years have passed, and she has come back with a completely different face to win him over.

Fu Shiqin sighed in frustration. He wanted to have a real love affair with Ling Jiao, the kind that lasts until death.

"Fu Xiaoer, if I had put in half the effort I put into tricking him, I would have already completely subdued Ling Jiao," Fu Shiyi muttered.
This tricked him and his brother; he had one cunning idea after another.
How come when it comes to being in a relationship, I act like an idiot?
"Can you be compared to her?" Fu Shiqin scoffed.
He would be ruthless in rigging him, but he couldn't bring himself to go too far with Ling Jiao.
It's already tough for her, a young woman, to be out in the world on her own. It wouldn't be fair for him to cause her more trouble.
"Fine, fine, talk however you want, I won't ask anymore." Fu Shiqin surrendered, too lazy to care about his love life anymore, and instead said, "You're not planning to stay there forever and not come back, are you? Will our brother allow it?"
Since he's not coming back to work, his brother has less time to spend with his sister-in-law, so how could he let him have his fun at the film studio?
"Whatever, I'll just quit," Fu Shiqin scoffed.
Nothing is more important than him pursuing his girlfriend right now.
"Don't be so absolute. It's not like you can escape my brother's clutches just because you quit your job," Fu Shiyi scoffed.
If his brother really wanted to deal with them, they would be tortured to the point of death regardless of whether they were at the company or not.
Fu Shiqin glanced at Ling Jiao, who had finished filming one scene and was preparing to film the last scene of the night, and said to Fu Shiyi.
"I'll hang up now if there's nothing else."
"I'm fine, it's just that Dad and the others are concerned about how things are going between you and Ling Jiao. They probably hope that the three of us brothers can settle down and have our weddings together," Fu Shiyi muttered.
Fu Shiqin listened, but showed no interest whatsoever in marrying them.
“If we hold it together, we can only accept gifts once. If we hold it three times, we'll accept gifts three times. Are you stupid?” Fu Shiqin said.
Upon hearing this, Fu Shiyi said, "Hey, that seems to make sense. So when are you coming back?"
"I don't know, let's wait until Ling Jiao finishes filming," Fu Shiqin said.
"No, I'm planning to propose, and I'd like to ask you to come back and discuss it with me," Fu Shiyi said, explaining his plans.
Fu Shiqin was furious when he heard this.
"Get lost. You proposed to Ding Dongdong, not me. What do you have to discuss with me?"
He can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel in their relationship, yet he's being told to go back and eat dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection). How absurd!
"I'm just asking for your help. If you need it when you propose in the future, I'll help you too," Fu Shiyi said matter-of-factly.
"Fu Laosan, give it a rest. Whether you're proposing or getting married, you have to wait until our brother finishes his business. You want to get ahead of him? You try it!" Fu Shiqin snorted.
His own brother hasn't even remarried his sister-in-law and finished their wedding ceremony yet, and he's already trying to cut in line? No way!
