Chapter 2005 I Don't Mind Giving the Kids a Different Father

Gu Weiwei didn't interrupt him. She knew about the feud between the Fu family and the Gu family when she was in the Gu family.

Therefore, it was inevitable that when Grandma Fu and the others learned that she was raised by the Gu family, they would oppose her being with Fu Hanzheng.

"Your family is against it, so why are you still with me?"

“From the moment I knew I loved you, I knew I could never lose you,” Fu Hanzheng said.

So when he found out her surname was Gu, he didn't give up.

So even when everyone at home objected, he still didn't give up.

He knew it would be difficult to win his family's acceptance, but it certainly wouldn't be as difficult as losing her.

Gu Weiwei pursed her lips, her eyes slightly sore, yet a joyful light shone in them.

"So now... do your family members truly accept us?"

She got along very well with several elders during this period, and they were very considerate of her.

If she hadn't discovered the divorce certificate today and learned all this, she would never have imagined that they had ever opposed her being with Fu Hanzheng.

Fu Hanzheng nodded, "Right now, they're even more anxious about our marriage than I am."

"Then why are you still my ex-husband?" Gu Weiwei asked.

Fu Hanzheng rubbed his forehead. "The old lady accepted it a long time ago, but my father is stubborn. He believes that as long as the Gu family is not eliminated, you will bring trouble to the Fu family. So he has been holding onto the divorce certificate and not letting us remarry."

Gu Weiwei frowned. Fu Shengying had been so enthusiastic in helping them find a wedding recently; she didn't seem like the type of person who would do something like this.

"Why does this sound so unbelievable to me?"

“He only gave me the divorce certificate and asked us to remarry after we came back from the Gu family. But before we even had a chance to go through the formalities, you suddenly lost your memory and forgot everything that had happened in the past few years.” Fu Hanzheng sighed helplessly.

Gu Weiwei nodded in sudden realization, and then said.

"Although what you said makes sense, we still need to verify it with Yuan Shuo and the others tomorrow. If there's even half a lie, the wedding is off."

"There's only one thing I've kept from you," Fu Hanzheng said honestly.

Gu Weiwei scoffed coldly upon hearing this.

"Was the fake injury we faked last time done by a ghost?"

“Two items, only these two,” Fu Hanzheng said.

Gu Weiwei withdrew her hand, sat a little further away, and asked.

"Let's take this opportunity to confess everything."

“There’s nothing left,” Fu Hanzheng said in a deep voice.

Gu Weiwei narrowed her eyes, "Really none?"

"There really aren't any left," Fu Hanzheng said definitively.

Gu Weiwei warned sternly, "I'll trust you this time. If I find out again, I won't hesitate to help Youyou and Tiantian get a different father."

“I mind!” Fu Hanzheng said through gritted teeth in a deep voice.

Gu Weiwei got up to wash up and rest, and Fu Hanzheng followed her in, standing at the bathroom door and asking.

"Now that we've talked things out, when are we going to go through with the remarriage formalities?"

Gu Weiwei forced a smile, "I don't want to do it now."

"Don't you want to do it?" Fu Hanzheng was very annoyed, but he couldn't bear to get angry at her.

"We've been ex-husband and ex-wife for two years, what's the rush? It won't have any impact anyway," Gu Weiwei said, then went to brush her teeth.

Fu Hanzheng was furious. He had finally managed to get the old lady to stop opposing them, but his father, Fu Shengying, stubbornly refused to give in.

Just when her family had finally stopped objecting, she started acting out about her memory loss.

They finally managed to keep her, and they even talked about the divorce, but now she refuses to remarry them properly.

Gu Weiwei was brushing her teeth when she noticed the person standing at the door had left. She spat out some foam and followed him out to ask.

Where are you going?

“Your ex-husband is going to take care of work and contemplate life.” After saying this, Fu Hanzheng left the master bedroom and went to the study on the second floor.

Although he couldn't persuade her to remarry, he was already relieved that she didn't completely ignore his explanations after discovering they were divorced.
