When Gu Weiwei heard that he was anxious, she patiently answered.
"It was just a minor collision with someone's car. It's nothing serious. I came out with Lei Ning. If something had happened, I wouldn't have been able to call you properly."
Hearing her say that, Fu Hanzheng felt a little more at ease.
"It's alright, I'll be there soon."
"Drive carefully, don't crash too," Gu Weiwei instructed.
Fu Hanzheng went downstairs, got into his car, and drove straight to the place she had mentioned.
If the person is unharmed, it's probably just the car that was hit. The other party is not someone to be trifled with, which is why they had to ask him to go there in person.
However, now everyone knows she is Mrs. Fu, and he still has to deal with this personally, because she is indeed a very important person.
Fortunately, Gu Weiwei's place wasn't too far from the company, and he arrived in less than half an hour by car.
As soon as he parked the car, Lei Ning rushed to the side of the vehicle.
"Boss, your wife is inside."
Fu Hanzheng followed her quickly inside, asking questions as they went.
"Are you sure the person isn't injured?"
“No, if I were injured, I wouldn’t be here right now,” Lei Ning explained as he led the way.
Fu Hanzheng relaxed a little, but his anger had not subsided.
"You're usually a very steady driver, what happened today? You managed to bump into someone."
Since Lei Ning went out with her, he must have been the one driving.
But she's been with the Fu family for so many years and has never had any problems driving, so how come she bumped into someone today?
It's just a minor collision with a car, but what if it had been a serious accident?
"I understand, I'll be more careful next time," Lei Ning replied helplessly.
Fu Hanzheng walked for a while, but still hadn't arrived at the destination, and he was getting a little anxious.
How much further?
"Turn left up ahead and you'll arrive," Lei Ning pointed ahead.
The task assigned by her wife was truly difficult for her.
Fu Hanzheng quickened his pace and, as he turned the corner, he saw Gu Weiwei sitting at someone's desk.
As he approached, he looked the person over from head to toe several times to make sure they weren't injured before asking.
"Nothing's wrong, why did you go out?"
Thankfully, he wasn't injured; otherwise, it could have been fatal.
"I can't go out unless there's something wrong," Gu Weiwei said, pointing to a document on the table. "Here, sign this."
“I mean, you can just leave anything to Lei Ning and the others to handle. If you really need to go out, you can just tell me,” Fu Hanzheng said.
Now, he can't fully trust anyone to whomever he entrusts her.
Seeing that he was still lecturing her incessantly, Gu Weiwei tapped on the table.
"Hurry up, are you going to sign or not?"
Did he even bother to see where he was? And he's still arguing with her about this.
Fu Hanzheng did not sign. "Where is the other party involved in the accident?"
Gu Weiwei sighed, "There's no one here, can't we just sign it already?"
Fu Hanzheng took the pen and signed his name where she pointed without looking closely.
"I haven't heard anything about your work, come out..."
He only realized what the document he had signed was halfway through his sentence.
Then, he looked at where they were and stared in disbelief at Gu Weiwei sitting there.
Seeing him staring blankly at her, Gu Weiwei handed the signed document to the staff.
Why are you looking at me like that?
"Didn't you say you wanted to think about it carefully?" Fu Hanzheng asked.
"I've already thought it through last night." Gu Weiwei glanced at him and asked, "Or do you also need to think it over carefully?"
"No need to consider it," Fu Hanzheng said resolutely.
