Fu Shiqin remained unmoved, using a cynical tone to mask his guilty conscience.
"If I had any ulterior motives, I would have acted long ago, and I would have made it impossible for you to resist."
If he truly wanted her, he could have used his status as the second young master of the Fu family to hinder her development in the entertainment industry, or even make her have no foothold in China without him, thus forcing her to submit.
But all this effort he put into coaxing and pampering her was because he hoped she would accept him from the bottom of her heart.
Ling Jiao opened her eyes and turned to look at Fu Shiqin, who was sleeping in the same bed with her.

Ling Jiao looked at him and said, "So, you're such a good person, you know that men and women shouldn't be so intimate, right? Go back to your place and sleep."
“To outsiders, we’re boyfriend and girlfriend, and we’ve slept together countless times. What’s the problem with us being intimate?” Fu Shiqin argued stubbornly, refusing to go back to bed with her.
Ling Jiao sat up and stared at him intently.
"I can't sleep if someone gets too close."

Ling Jiao watched as he moved back before lying down to rest.

So he went over and quietly approached her from behind.
However, due to the strong cold air here, he was so cold that he shivered and hunched his neck.
If it weren't for her, he would never have been so foolish as to come to such a cold place.
Ling Jiao stood alone in the cold wind for a long time before preparing to go back to the hotel for breakfast. As soon as she turned around, she saw Fu Shiqin standing not far behind her.
Fu Shiqin was wearing a white down jacket and was shivering from the cold, making him look quite funny.
"Why did you come out?"
"Looking for you." Fu Shiqin sniffed.
Ling Jiao walked towards him, and the two returned to the hotel together.
"I asked the hotel staff, and they said there have been clouds here for the past few days, so the chances of the aurora appearing are very low."
“After breakfast, we’ll drive somewhere else. Iceland is so big, there must be somewhere we can see the Northern Lights,” Fu Shiqin said.
Ling Jiao looked at the person shivering from the cold and said, "I'll find a guide and go by myself. You can stay at the hotel."
She wanted to chase the aurora borealis herself.
Moreover, since he's so afraid of the cold, running around outside with her would undoubtedly be torture for him.
