It was already the evening of the second day when I returned to Beijing from Iceland.
After getting off the plane, Fu Shiqin simply took Ling Jiao home for dinner.
Madam Fu was very welcoming of Ling Jiao's arrival. She instructed Fu Shiqin to take good care of her and then went to ask the cook to add a few more dishes.

So she took Ling Jiao upstairs to the study and knocked on the door before going in.

"You're back so soon?"
"My brother is about to send people to drag me back to work, how dare I not come back?" Fu Shiqin complained.
Gu Weiwei put down the script revisions, stood up, and shook hands with Ling Jiao.

Gu Weiwei listened with envy, "I went there back then too. I stayed there for half a month, but I didn't see it even once. It really depends on luck."
“We waited several nights in a row, and we were lucky to run into you,” Ling Jiao said with a smile, glancing at the script on the table. “Are you preparing for a new movie?”
“You’re here just in time. Although the official filming might not be until more than a year later, I’d like to book my schedule in advance,” Gu Weiwei said, handing her a few pages of the script. “Are you interested in this role?”
Ling Jiao looked at her in shock, "I...can I look?"
Generally, the script and other details are kept secret before a film is officially prepared for production and begins filming.
"You're not an outsider," Gu Weiwei said with a light laugh.
Ling Jiao smiled faintly and remained silent, sitting down opposite her and carefully reading the few pages of the script she had given her.
"You really want me to play this role?"
Gu Weiwei nodded, "This character is very similar to your temperament. This is a drama with two female leads, and I still need to find the other one."
“If we can’t find anyone suitable, then you can always do it yourself, sister-in-law,” Fu Shiqin said.
Gu Weiwei said, "If we can't find the right person, the filming will be put on hold indefinitely."
She prefers directing to acting.
It wouldn't be out of the question if she were to play a different role, but that would require more energy, so she prefers to work behind the scenes.
Fu Shiqin checked the time and said.
"You two chat, I'll go find Youyou and Tiantian to talk about the relationship between uncle and niece."
After saying that, he closed the study door and left.
Ling Jiao and Gu Weiwei chatted about the role for a while, and then talked about the role in another drama that was about to start filming, asking for her opinions.
After listening, Gu Weiwei also offered some of her own opinions.
"However, we don't know exactly what it will be like, so it's hard to say."
"No, it has been a great help to me," Ling Jiao said sincerely.
