Yuan Meng smiled and said when she heard that she didn't speak.
"If my second child is a daughter, would you consider a marriage between our families?"
"I won't consider it," Gu Weiwei said coldly.
"No way! Look, my little Yuanbao is perfect to marry your Tiantian, and I can have another daughter to be your son's wife. Isn't that wonderful?" Yuanmeng ignored his refusal and continued to daydream on the other end of the phone.
"Don't even think about it. Besides, how can you be sure that your second child will be a daughter? What if it's a son? Wouldn't I be at a huge loss?" Gu Weiwei snorted.
Yuan thought for a moment, then said in a cheeky tone.
"If it's another son, let them be gay."
"Get out of here!" Gu Weiwei snapped.
Her two children are not even a year old yet, so what's the point of getting even closer? Besides, they will have their own lives and choices when they grow up, and we shouldn't make decisions for them now.
"Fine, fine, I'll leave." Yuan Meng didn't insist anymore. Before hanging up, she reminded him, "Kaman Dorrance's health hasn't been very good since he came back. If you have time, call him. He's been quite afraid of disturbing your current life."
Gu Weiwei paused for a moment, "The key is... I don't know what to say on the phone?"
Although he was her biological father whom she had been searching for for many years, after so many things had happened before they finally met, she and he really couldn't think of anything to say on the phone.

Kaman Dorrance was always worried about her, but he was afraid that if he interfered too much in her current life, it would provoke her and Fu Hanfeng's resentment.
So after I came back, I found out they were on the reality show "Me and My Wife" and watched it every week.
After it aired, I watched that episode over and over again for a week.
"Okay, I'll call back later," Gu Weiwei said.
She had thought about making a phone call, but she couldn't think of what to say, so she gave up time and time again.
After ending the call with Yuan Meng, she took out her phone, found Kaman Dorrance's number in her contacts, hesitated for a moment, and then dialed it.
The phone was answered after only two rings; the slightly aged voice trembled slightly.
"Hello, is this Vivi?"
"It's me," Gu Weiwei replied, then asked, "Are you feeling alright after you got back?"
“It’s great. I’ve been watching your show lately, and Yougu and Tiantian have grown up quite a bit.” Kaman Dorrance realized that they didn’t have much to talk about, so he took the initiative to steer the conversation toward the two children.
Gu Weiwei chuckled softly, "He has grown quite a bit. He just learned to take a few steps recently, and I estimate he'll be able to walk on his own in another month or two."
“That’s great,” Kaman Dorrance exclaimed.
"Do you want to see their photos and videos?" Gu Weiwei asked.
"If you'd like to see it, that would be wonderful if you could send it to me," Kaman Dorrance said, his voice trembling with excitement.
Gu Weiwei relaxed from her initial restraint. "I'll send it to you in a bit. I heard from Yuan Meng that you're not feeling well. If you don't mind, we can arrange for a traditional Chinese medicine doctor to come and take a look at you."
“That’s fine, the doctors here are all pretty much the same anyway.” Kaman Dorrance was naturally happy to accept her offer.
Gu Weiwei smiled and said, "Then we'll find the right people and arrange for them to go. Traditional Chinese medicine in China is still very effective."
"Thank you for your trouble," Kaman Dorrance said with a smile.
"Take care of yourself too, you haven't even had a chance to drink our wedding wine yet," Gu Weiwei reminded her with a smile.
“I will absolutely not miss this opportunity,” Kaman Dorrance assured him confidently.
