So, while the two children were sleeping, Fu Hanzheng and Gu Weiwei slipped out of the house to enjoy some alone time.
Fu Hanzheng drove her to Jinxiu Apartment, where a large area of wisteria flowers were in full bloom, their beauty dazzling.
Gu Weiwei walked gently under the wisteria trellis and turned to the person beside her.
"I remember there's a photo of me kissing you in a field of wisteria flowers, is it here?"
“Yes.” Fu Hanzheng smiled and said, “But you weren’t very willing at the time; you were forced into it.”
Gu Weiwei chuckled, "Why?"
“When I first arrived, they treated me like a major enemy,” Fu Hanzheng said.
Gu Weiwei thought for a moment. She remembered that in that photo, she seemed to be a student, and she had just been reborn into Mu Weiwei's body.
Therefore, they would definitely avoid Fu Hanzheng, who has such a deep-seated grudge against the Gu family, like the plague.
However, if she had known then that she would fall deeply in love with him in the future, she thinks she wouldn't have done it that way.
She paused, faced Fu Hanzheng, and tiptoed to give him a light peck on the lips.
"This time, it's entirely voluntary."
The dappled sunlight filtered through the flower stand and fell on her, creating a dappled pattern of light and shadow.
Fu Hanzheng chuckled, led her to sit down on a bench under the wisteria trellis, and quietly admired the brilliantly blooming wisteria flowers with her.
Gu Weiwei turned her head and asked, "Is this our date today?"
"Otherwise what?" Fu Hanzheng retorted.
Gu Weiwei turned to look at the wisteria flowers and said with a smile.
"I thought you wanted to find a place or a hotel room for a date in bed."
Fu Hanzheng chuckled, "If you need anything, there's room upstairs."
"No need! I like this kind of date." Gu Weiwei immediately said that this kind of normal date is fine.
Fu Hanzheng didn't try to scare him anymore and asked.
"What would you like to drink? I'll go upstairs and get it."
"Black tea," Gu Weiwei said.
Fu Hanzheng got up and went upstairs. A little while later, he came down with two cups of black tea. He and she sat together under the wisteria trellis, drinking tea and admiring the flowers.
He's usually busy with company matters, or she's busy with their two children and the script; they rarely have time to sit together so leisurely.
I recently discovered that the wisteria here is in bloom, so I wanted to bring her back to see it.
Gu Weiwei looked around. "How long have we lived here?"
“There was a period of time before your college entrance exam,” Fu Hanzheng said.
"You don't even spare high school students." Gu Weiwei smiled subtly, even though she was already in her twenties at that time.
Fu Hanzheng took a sip of black tea. "Transferring schools delayed him for a year, and the car accident delayed him for another year. He's a nineteen-year-old high school student."
Gu Weiwei pursed her lips and asked casually.
"Then I'll study hard. When I was studying in Country A and Europe, I was always an excellent student."
"You were in the bottom of math class, and I had to tutor you to catch up," Fu Hanzheng said.
Gu Weiwei awkwardly touched her ear. Mathematics wasn't valued that much in Country A and Europe, so she was bound to feel out of place here.
Fu Hanzheng chuckled and chatted with her about those amusing stories she no longer remembered.
Although forgetting those things doesn't affect her current life, she still feels regretful.
Therefore, this was the only way he could help her rediscover the places and things she had forgotten.
Gu Weiwei listened attentively. Although she had forgotten what happened in those years, she thought she could slowly piece together all those lost and important memories from his words.
