Gu Weiwei closed the door and glanced nervously at his expression.
No wonder they didn't call; they've come in person to confront me.
Fu Shiyi reported this to him before boarding the plane, so he probably flew here directly after receiving Fu Shiyi's call.
Fu Hanzheng glanced at her. "Didn't you say you missed me yesterday? Now you're not happy that I came?"
Gu Weiwei stood in front of him like a child who had done something wrong and was about to be criticized.
"Discipline me however you want, I'll listen."
Fu Hanzheng reached out and pulled her into his arms, then lowered his head to kiss the top of her head.
Who told you I came here to lecture you?
Gu Weiwei looked up. "Otherwise what?"
"I told you I'd come sleep with you."
As Fu Hanzheng spoke, he kissed her forehead again.
Upon receiving the news, I was so worried that I decided to come and check on it overnight.
Gu Weiwei reached out and hugged his waist, pressing her face against his chest.
"Then let me hold you for a while."
The events of the past two days have kept her on edge.
Fu Hanzheng's embrace at that moment was incredibly comforting for her.
Fu Hanzheng looked down at her in surprise, a silent smile curving his lips.
The person who never used to hug him was unusually proactive today.
Gu Weiwei hugged him for a few minutes before letting go.
"You came so late, what are you going to do at work tomorrow?"
According to Fu Shiyi, they've been quite busy lately.
In particular, now that he has exiled Fu Shiqin to Africa, he has even more things to handle.
"Tomorrow at noon won't be too busy."
Fu Hanzheng took off his suit jacket, sat down on the sofa in the room, and called out to her.

Gu Weiwei's story was half true and half false; she didn't mention that she was captured at the Yuan family's residence.
Fu Hanzheng pursed his thin lips slightly. He had indeed recently received news that Gu Siting was looking for people from the Yuan family.
"Then why did he invite you to his house?"
Gu Siting is an arrogant person, and not just anyone can enter his home.
Gu Weiwei smiled innocently and said directly.
"I don't know either, but I feel like he was lustful. You know how beautiful the dress you sent me at the film festival was."
Fu Hanzheng's cold eyes darkened slightly, "Lust at first sight?"
"Yes, he asked me twice if I wanted to go to Yaoshi Media. He definitely wanted to poach me and sexually harass me." Gu Weiwei continued to lie through her teeth.
Gu Siting probably invited her because he had investigated her.
Or perhaps they saw a video of her playing the piano, and she was playing a piece by Liszt, which she is usually good at.
However, he never dreamed that she would die and be reborn in Mu Weiwei's body.
Fu Hanzheng looked down at her, his eyes cold and deep.
"You've got some nerve, letting Fu Shiyi and the others keep this from me."
What she said sounded reasonable.
However, he always felt that there was some reason he didn't know.
Gu Weiwei didn't want to explain anymore and yawned sleepily.
"I'm sleepy, let's go to sleep."
