"I really saw it!" Fu Shiyi said angrily.
He had this feeling when he saw Yang Shasha on set before, but he didn't have time to tell her then.
"So, she's one of your exes too?" Fu Shiqin asked sarcastically.
This means that the people Fu Shiyi could see and still remember were none other than his exes.
"No, that's not true. Her looks don't even meet my ex-girlfriend's standards," Fu Shiyi said bluntly.
He has had quite a few ex-girlfriends and rumored girlfriends, but Yang Shasha is clearly not his type.
Fu Shiqin was too lazy to listen to her rambling anymore. "If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up. I need to cook."
"How come nothing's wrong? Ding Dongdong ran away again." Fu Shiyi quickly got back to the main point, as he rushed over only to find no one there.
Fu Shiqin sighed helplessly, "I'm not saying this, but your ex-girlfriend is really good at hiding. If this keeps up, is she going to take a spaceship to Mars to escape?"
"You had the guts to dump me, but now you don't have the guts to see me?" Fu Shiyi was furious.
Fu Shiqin frowned in puzzlement. "I sent you over as soon as I found her address. How could you have gone to the wrong place? Couldn't you have covered your face a little when you went there?"
He suspected that Fu Shiyi had been spotted again after getting off the plane, and that the news had spread online.
That's why Ding Dongdong ran away before he arrived.
"Of course I pretended, but I also know where she got wind of it. She ran away before I arrived and even left me a letter," Fu Shiyi said, feeling wronged.
He has temporarily put all his work aside in order to find her.
However, he hasn't been taking on many gigs lately because he's busy filming a new phone and producing a new program; otherwise, he would be bankrupt from breach of contract penalties by now.
"What did the letter say?" Fu Shiqin asked.
"She told me to stop looking for her, that she wouldn't see me, and that it was all over between us." Fu Shiyi said through gritted teeth, conveying the meaning of the letter.
He now realizes he went too far back then, and she should at least give him a chance to apologize and explain in person.
Fu Shiqin sympathized with him and offered a suggestion.
"Or you could stop contacting her for now, give her some time to calm down and think things through, and then the two of you can have a proper talk?"
"She's been avoiding me for so many days, isn't that enough time for her?" Fu Shiyi retorted.
Fu Shiqin thought for a moment and then shared his opinion.
"I think you're pushing her too hard right now. She's so busy avoiding you that she doesn't have time to properly think about the problems between you two."
In truth, Ding Dongdong is still somewhat insecure because of her past.
After all, at the very beginning, Fu Shiyi really had no feelings for her whatsoever.
She might even be wondering now whether Fu Shiyi likes her for who she is, or for her current exquisite and sexy appearance.
"What else can I do? Go home and wait, waiting for her to come to her senses so she can see me. But can I wait until I'm in my coffin?" Fu Shiyi complained.
"Please, you're the one pursuing her now, you can't follow your own pace, you have to follow hers." Fu Shiqin, who has already taken a small step on the road to reconciliation, sincerely offered this advice.
He used to be too focused on what he wanted and did things his own way, so Ling Jiao was unwilling to have any further contact with him.
