The two stood awkwardly facing each other for a while before Gu Yunche asked.
"You want to go out?"
“Let’s go to the bookstore,” Luo Qianqian said honestly.
Gu Yunche was silent for two seconds, then said, "Let's go."
The two tacitly avoided bringing up the topic they both knew they were talking about as soon as they met, and walked side by side along the sidewalk to the nearby bookstore.
Luo Qianqian carefully selected the books she wanted to buy from the rows of bookshelves, while Gu Yunche picked up a book and flipped through it with great interest.
Because the bookstore was still quiet, the two of them didn't speak and browsed silently for more than half an hour before finally choosing what they wanted to buy.
After paying the bill, Gu Yunche picked up the paper bag containing the books.
"Is there anything else you want to buy?"
Luo Qianqian thought for a moment and then shook her head.
"there is none left."
The two returned to their temporary apartment together. Gu Yunche glanced around the room. Although it was just a temporary place to stay, the decoration and furnishings were complete and it was obviously more comfortable than a hotel.
Luo Qianqian poured him some water and asked him what was wrong.
"Did you have breakfast?"
"I didn't have time," Gu Yunche said.
I came straight here after getting off the plane, and I saw her coming downstairs as soon as I got downstairs.
Luo Qianqian pursed her lips. "There are still some things in the refrigerator. Let me prepare some for you."
"Okay." Gu Yunche nodded.
Luo Qianqian went to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, and found tomatoes and eggs to make tomato and egg noodles.
Although she was busy with her hands, she kept thinking about how she should answer if Gu Yunche asked her why she stayed here instead of going back.
And how is she supposed to ask the person in that photo about him?
Lost in thought, she accidentally cut her hand, gasping in pain.
Gu Yunche heard the noise in the living room and rushed over. He saw her clutching her injured finger, with a little blood seeping from between her fingers.
"Let me see."
Luo Qianqian glanced at him, but still let go of his hand.
"It's okay, it's just a small cut."
As she spoke, she went to find the first-aid kit.
Gu Yunche took the first-aid kit, found some band-aids inside, and quickly bandaged his wound.
Luo Qianqian finished bandaging her wound and was about to go back to the kitchen when Gu Yunche stopped her.
"I can cook it myself."
"Sorry, you came all this way and you still have to do it yourself." Luo Qianqian smiled.
Gu Yunche washed his hands and took over her work in an orderly manner, frying tomatoes and eggs and cooking noodles for himself.
Moreover, a question was asked earlier.
Have you eaten?
"I've already eaten, you don't need to cook mine," Luo Qianqian said hurriedly.
Gu Yunche only cooked enough noodles for himself, brought them to the table, and quietly filled his stomach.
Luo Qianqian took out her phone and sent a message to Gu Weiwei, informing her that Gu Yunche had arrived and that she had invited him to stay at the apartment for a while.
She lives here because of a friend, but she should at least greet the host before bringing Gu Yunche here.
